This adorable flower bonnet is not only trendy for today s photography, but also a fun & easy project! Bulky yarn & a large hook make this a quick pattern to crochet. SIZES: Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months MATERIALS: #5 Bulky Yarn, 1 (1-1/2, 1-1/2, 2) oz, 32 (48, 48, 64) yds for Body of Hat; #5 Bulky Yarn, 1 (1-1/2, 1-1/2, 2) oz, 35 (53, 53, 70) yds. for Flower Petals; N (9mm) hook; J (6mm) hook for Ties; yarn needle; Sample Uses: Deborah Norville Serenity Yarn by Premier, Cotton Candy (for body of hat); Bernat ROVING: #402 Magenta, (for flower petal color), Red Heart Supersaver, small amount #672 Spring Green (for Ties). PATTERN NOTES: It is best if you measure the circumference of the BABY'S head to determine which size to make. All children s head sizes vary greatly. Please use ANY size hook that gives you the REQUIRED GAUGE listed with each individual pattern. This project calls for an N hook that is 9mm. Some brands of N hook are 10mm. If you choose Bernat Roving for the Petals, the yarn pulls apart easily when fastened off, so use caution when ending your project.
