MATERIALS (FOR BOTH SNOW PEOPLE): 3 oz Lion Brand Jiffy Mohair look yarn in white, Pastel blue and Kitty Hawk, needle to take yarn, size E glass beads in color of your choosing, needle and thread, stuffing, H hook or hook needed to obtain gauge, 2 small fake carrots, black fabric paint, 3 bunches small white flowers (12 ea bunch-found in bridal area), glue and a touch of blush FINISHED SIZE: 12 (Without hats) Gauge: 4 sts = 1, 4 rows of sts = 1 SNOW WOMAN: With white yarn and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring. RND 1: Ch-1, work 9 sc in ring, sl st beg sc, ch-1, turn. (9 sts) RND 2-3: (2 sc next st, sc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)(16 sts) RND 4: Sc next st, (2 sc next st, sc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (21 sts) RND 5-7: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. With needle and yarn sew base to bottom of snow woman after stuffing. ARM (MAKE TWO): RND 1: With white yarn and H hook ch-5, hdc 2 nd ch from hook, 2 dc next 2 ch, hdc last ch, ch-5, sl st bottom beg hdc, turn. (6 sts + 5 ch) RND 2: Ch-1, work sc in bottom ea foundation ch and ch around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (9 sts) RND 3-9: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. RND 10-12: Sk 1 st st, sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)(7 sts)(6 sts) RND 13: Close flat sl st through both thickness across to close, fasten off. Stuff slightly and sew to Snow woman at shoulders.

ROW 2: Sl st next ch lp, ch-1, sc sa lp, * ch-3, sc next lp *, across, ch-1, turn. ROW 3: Sl st next ch lp, ch-1, sc sa lp, *(sc, ch-3, sc, ch-5, sc, ch-3, sc) next lp, sc next 2 lps *, rep bet ** across ending with sc next lp, fasten off. Sew to bottom of dress. BODICE EDGING: ROW 1: With Kitty Hawk and H hook ch-3, sc 2 nd ch from hook, * ch-3, sc next ch *, rep bet ** across, ch-1, turn. ROW 2: Rep row 3 of bottom edging, fasten off. Sew along top of bodice and over shoulders. HAT: With Pastel Blue and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring. RND 1: Ch-1, work (sc in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (9 sts) RND 2-3: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. RND 4: Sc sa st as ch-1, * ch-3, sc next st*, rep bet ** around ending with ch-3, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (9 lps) RND 5: Sl st in next ch lp, ch-1, sc sa lp, * ch-3, sc next lp, ch-3, sc sa lp, ch-3, sc next lp *, rep bet ** around ending with ch-3, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (13 lps) RND 6: Sl st in next ch lp, ch-1, sc sa lp, * (sc, ch-3, sc, ch-5, sc, ch-3, sc) next lp, sc next lp *, rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, fasten off. Glue flowers to hat. Glue hat to Snow woman s head. FINISHING: Cut tip off of fake carrot. Glue to face for nose. Using black fabric paint make eyes and mouth. With needle and thread make a bracelet and double strand necklace for Snow woman, sewing at back to secure. Cut small flowers from their stems and glue around hat and on ea scallop on bodice and bottom edging. SNOWMAN: Rep rnd 1-12 of Snow woman. At the end of rnd 12, join Kitty Hawk and fasten off white. Rep rnd of Snow woman. RND 15-17: Sc ea st around. RND 18: Sc next 2 sts, (2 sc next st, sc next 4 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (32 sts) RND 19-20: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. RND 21: Rep rnd 18. (38 sts) RND 22-24: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 24 join white, fasten off Kitty Hawk. RND 25-46: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 46 fasten off. BASE: Rep as for Snow woman using white yarn. Stuff and sew base to bottom. ARM (MAKE TWO): Rep rnds 1-9 of Snow woman s arm using Kitty Hawk yarn. At the end of rnd 9 join white yarn and fasten off Kitty Hawk. Continue rnds of Snow woman. CUFFS (MAKE TWO): ROW 1: With Pastel blue and H hook ch-18, dc 3 rd ch from hook, dc next ch, sc next 12 ch, dc next 2 ch, fasten off. Sew around Snowman s wrist. Sew one bead in center of cuff for cuff link. CUMMERBUND: ROW 1: With Pastel blue and H hook ch-3, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)

Sew bead at center back for button.
