Shell Border Rnd 1: With RS facing, join yarn with sl st at beg of Back neck edge, ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st (first shell made), work 6 (6, 7, 7) more shells (see Special Terms) evenly spaced across Back neck, work 17 (18, 19, 20) shells evenly spaced across Left Front to side seam, work 17 (18, 19, 20) shells evenly spaced across bottom edge to next side seam, work 17 (18, 19, 20) shells evenly spaced across Right Front to begof rnd, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. Rnds 2-3: Sl st in next dc, sl st in next ch, ch 3, (dc, ch 2. 2 dc) in same ch; *work Shell over next Shell (see Special Terms), rep from* around the bolero, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3.
