To get stuffing onto the tale, use the little part of a crochet hook to pull it into place through the little hole between stitches. Sew the tale onto the middle of the body and form a small ring. 3

Do NOT stuff. Leave enough yarn for mounting. Eyes (x2) Back fin - Optional colour 2 - Crochet around chs 1: 6 ch, turn with 1 ch 2: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 4 sc, inc3, 4 sc, inc (14) 3-5: 14 sc around (3 rnds) 6: *dec, 5 sc* x2 (12) - Finish rnd with 1 ss. Do NOT stuff. Leave enough yarn for mounting. Buds (x3) - Optional colour 2 2: *1 sc, inc* x3 (9) 3-5: 9 sc around (3 rnds) - Finish rnd with 1 ss. Stuff a little and leave enough yarn for mounting Tip: You can do a tiny v with white yarn, which gives the eye a cute effect. Pull the thread from the back of the eve through the hole in the mr and through two different sc a little apart. - Start with black 2: *inc* x6 (12) - Change to white. 3: *1 sc, inc* x6 (18) - Finish rnd with 1 ss and leave enough yarn for mounting. 4

5 Assembly instructions and mounting The assembly instructions are only guidelines and a suggestion for how to mount. Sew the mouth on the head. Make sure the mouth is on the same side as where the belly pops out. Sew the buds on the head. Spread them a little over the size of the head, but leave them in a row in the middle of the head (from the top across to the back of the head). First, sew the opening of the side fins flat together. Then sew he fins on either side of the body. Sew them on horizontally as pictured. First, sew the opening of the back fin flat together. Then sew the back fin on the back. Sew it on vertically as pictured. Sew the eyes on either side of the head. 5
