1 EXECUTIVE OF AIAPA New executive of AIAPA has been elected with consensus on April 18, These seven members of executive team forms a board of directors for AIAPA, which controls and manages the affairs of society during the year. The following are the members of board of directors of AIAPA: President:, Vice President: Naseer Ahmed Mahr, Secretary:, Treasurer: Tasleem-uz Zaman, Director Public Relations:, Director Admin: Ashfaq Ahmad Jathole, Director Events: Ashfaq Ahmed. We all thank the relieving cabinet for their remarkable achievements. We also congratulate the incoming cabinet and hope they will work hard for achieving AIAPA's goals. We appreciate all the members who participated in the meeting and thank you for sparing your time. Join AIAPA to share experience and ideas!

2 BAR B Q FOR FAMILIES On Aug 23, 2015 at Edworthy Park, Calgary, a Bar B Q Party was arranged by AIAPA for members families. More than 100 AIAPA s families members, including women and children participated in this event. Kids enjoyed balloons and Clown participation while girls were happy to have face paintings. Delicious food was also served and gifts were also presented to the different nominated families and volunteers. Everyone enjoyed a lot. Thanks to Dr. Abid Farid, Altaf Sheikh, Tariq Manzoor, Munawar Hussain, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Attique, Ashfaq Jathole and Nabi Ahmad for their volunteer work along with the executive team. Special thanks to Mr. Muhammad Asif s family for donating gifts and much more to make this event successful. This Event particularly provided a good opportunity to ladies and children to intermingle, relax and enjoy.

3 IFTAR PARTY On July 09, 2015, an iftar party was hosted by AIAPA for their members at Lahore Tikka Restaurant ( West winds Cres NE, Calgary, AB). Mr. Habib Abdullah (President PCA) and Khursheed Alam (Prominent builder in city) were also invited as guests. More than 30 members of AIAPA were present. MEMBERS MEETING With the sincere efforts of Rana sahib, we arranged a meeting on May 30, 2015 at Charles Glen Toyota Conference Room NW. The meeting was held in a true professional manner. Our worthy presenters (Dr. Tariq Munir, Dr. Tahir Magrey, Naseer Ahmed Mahr, Syed Mutahir Hussain, Waqar Manzoor), who delivered such an interesting and thought provoking talks which kept all the participants thriving till the end of the meeting. An honorable member Dr. Anwar Haq who spared some of his valuable time to grace the occasion and shared his treasured thoughts with the AIAPA s members. We are grateful to Dr. Munawar Hussain, Dr. Bashir Cheema, Ashfaq Ahmad, Nabi Ahmad, Abdul Monam, Sakhawat Ali, Haroon, and one guest of Rana sahib, for their active participation and discussions. All this session was so informative. (President of AIAPA) delivered a brief speech on future professional plan, social networking and healthy activities including sports. Under his guidance, we will try to exceed the expectation of AIAPA members to make AIAPA more vibrant and professional.

4 MUSIC NIGHT One dish dinner party and music evening was hosted by AIAPA on March 07, 2015 at Monterey Park community Association Hall NE, Calgary. This function was very colorful and well attended. Lots of dignitary of Calgary attended this events such as Mr. Burhan Khan, Mr. Yaseen and Dr. A. Rahman. Achievement awards were also presented to the nominees by the hand of chief guests. Gifts prizes were also given to the children. Singer s performance was very inspiring and everyone enjoyed a lot.

5 AIAPA S NEWS The idea we proposed to the City of Calgary has been approved. They are ready to hand over land to us for Agricultural purposes. In this regards, role of Rana Satwat Atta (Secretary AIAPA) is appreciated. This will be a huge step towards the success of AIAPA. We all really commend Rana Satwat Atta for providing discounted programs only for AIAPA s members. These are discounted rates from Canadian Direct Insurance Company and also Cineplex tickets for 50% off. We congratulate Asif Siddiqi, Atique and Nabi Ahmad on completing Umrah. May Allah SWT bless all of us to visit the holy places again and again aamin. Waqar Manzoor, and Ch. Ahmad moved from Calgary to Chestemere and Airdrie in new houses. Best wishes for both of them. Dr. Tariq M. Munir and Mr. Naseer Ahmad Mahr have become the PAg (Professional Agrologist). Dr. Abid Fareed and Dr. Tahir Magrey also got the professional recognition from ABVMA. We all congratulate them and wish them for their bright future. Dr. Tahir Rashid secured a new job in Suncor Energy and moved to Fort McMurray. We all wish him for better future and prosperity. CONDOLENCE One of AIAPA s members, Perveen Akhtar Cheema, mother in law of Asif Siddiqi, father in law of, mother of Sakhawat Ali, wife of Abdul Monam, and an elder son of brother Ashraf Alvi have passed away. May Allah bless their souls and give sabr to the aggrieved families. We all express our deepest condolence to their families on this huge loss and pray for the departed soul. MUNIR (PAg) WETLANDS ENGINEER/POST DOCTORATE IN IMPERIAL OIL RESOURCES He is an environmental professional with 10+ years of Canadian experience, in applied research and environmental management. He is adept in to create and develop the strategic areas of applied research in collaboration with industry, and synergize the momentum of desired / innovative outcomes.
