2 21 Days to Awaken Your Inner Whole Woman Release the Best that is Worth Bringing Out! Introduction: This guide is designed to bring into your awareness that God created you to be a whole and complete woman. Over the next 21 days, you will complete exercises to begin the inner work of releasing the negative thinking patterns about yourself and your life, discover who you really what to be and set an intention to awaken your inner whole woman through self-love and self-care practices. These exercises are essential for you to begin to see your created whole self. It is recommended that you complete your assignments in the morning or at a consistent time every day. I am excited about the transformation that will occur as you awaken the best that is worth bringing out. You are not just any woman; you are a whole woman. Materials Needed: Guide Handouts Journal Pen or Pencil Personal Note: Twenty-one days can be a long journey. At any point and time, you would like support during this process just let me know me. Send me a quick and I am happy to walk with you through this guide. 2

3 Week 1: Renewal of Your Mind: Take Control of Your Thinking In order to embrace your wholeness, you have to rid yourself of the negative thinking that robs you of your happiness, peace and security. In the first part of this guide, you will be on a mental diet to renew your mind and change your perception of yourself and your life. Exercise: Seven Days of Mental Dieting Assignment: Over the next 7 days, you will make a commit to eliminate negative thoughts about yourself and your life and create a new space for positivity. Each day you will complete the assignment and allow yourself time to reflect on the process. Let s begin Complete the Following: I,, commit to eliminating the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs I have about myself and my life. I am open to creating a new space for positivity and allowing the good to come into my life. Day 1: Eliminate all outside distractions that cause negative thinking about yourself or your life. List the things that you are going to eliminate today. Day 2: Before you get out of the bed today, think of at least five things that you are grateful for. Gratitude puts us in a place of positivity. Day 3: Allow yourself to receive compliments from others without minimizing, discrediting or diminishing it. Reflect on the compliments you received today. Day 4: List five things that you consider to be weaknesses, then list how each quality could be positive. For example, I often overthink things (negative) versus I don t make rash decisions (positive). How did this activity change your perspective? 3

4 Day 5: Evaluate how you feel about yourself and how you view yourself. What kind of thoughts are you having that create this? How are your behaviors reinforcing this belief? Day 6: Write out all the negative thoughts that you have about yourself and your life. Then you are going to write a statement (Even though nevertheless) that acknowledges your reality and helps you still feel good about your core self. Below are examples: Even though I did not get the promotion, nevertheless I m still an important and valuable person. Even though I am overweight, nevertheless I sure love myself. Even though I am not perfect, nevertheless I am growing. Day 7: Train your mind to see the good in everything. Find the positive in every situation today. Some things make take more time or you may have to be creative. Don t stop until you see it. Reflection Time: Reflect over what came up for your over the week. Notice what you said to yourself and how that affected your view of yourself. What does this mean to you? How did changing your thoughts affect your feelings and actions? Journal your thoughts and any further action you want to take. Personal Note: Do you need help? I am still here to support you. I know life can get busy and you may want to continue this journey but need extra support or accountability. Send me an WEEK 2: The Whole Woman You Were Created To Be Assignment: Over the next 7 days, you will engage in self-reflective activities to discover who you really are and God s unique design for you. 4

5 Complete the Following: I,, am open to connecting to my inner whole woman that was uniquely designed by God. Day 1: Think about the woman you are today. Ask yourself is this who I was created to be or who I have become based on my life experiences. Journal what you have discovered. Day 2: Women are often validated and find identify and value through their roles and responsibilities. Who are you without your roles and responsibilities? Day 3: Find a quiet place and list 50 things that make you happy. How much satisfaction do those things bring you? How often do you engage in those activities? Day 4: Create time today to be still and hear what God says about who you really are and how He sees you. Day 5: God designed you at your core to be a whole woman (Perfect, Complete, & Lacking Nothing). Write your thoughts about what you would do differently if you embraced this and walked in this truth daily? Day 6: Recite, I am perfect, I am complete, and I am lacking nothing five times. Reflect on what this experience was like for you. Day 7: Everyone has a story. If you sit down with them long enough, they will tell it to you. Natolie Gray Warren. Write a part of your story and the experiences that made you the woman you are today. How can you use that story to walk in your purpose? Reflection Time: Reflect over what came up for your over the week and what does this mean to you. What did you discover about your whole self? Journal your thoughts and any further action you want to take. 5

6 Week 3: Better Love the Woman You See in the Mirror Assignment: Over the next seven days, you will engage in self-care and selflove exercises that will create an opportunity to embrace the whole woman you were created to be. Complete the Following: I,, am committing to taking better care of myself over the next week. I am convinced that these practices will help me better love myself and bring forth the best that is already within me. Day 1: What thoughts come to mind when you think about self-care or self-love? If negative thoughts come up, remind yourself that self-care is an act of self-love and you are worthy of both. Day 2: Look in the mirror and say, I love you and I appreciate you, at least once a day. Reflect on what this experience was like for you. Day 3: Reinforce your worth and value by honoring yourself today with 15 uninterrupted minutes for self-care. Engage in an activity that is solely for you, does not cost you money and is something that you don t normally get to do. Journal what you did and how it was for you to engage in the activity. Day 4: Do something today that your inner whole woman has been waiting to do. Write about your experience. When you feel better about yourself, your life gets better. Unknown Day 5: Do you love every part of yourself and your life? If you identified something that you want to change, what is it and what action steps are you going to take to change it? Day 6: One of the reasons we have difficulty loving ourselves is that we have not forgiven ourselves. When we don t forgive ourselves, we walk in shame, fear or guilt. What do you need to forgive yourself for? What are you ready to forgive yourself for? What are you still struggling to forgive yourself for? 6

7 Day 7: Create a self-care routine that incorporates your physical well-being, emotional well-being, spiritual well-being, and social well-being. Write the following paragraph and post it in a place that you can read it daily. I take full responsibility for my well-being. This self-care routine is a representation of my commitment to take care of myself. I know this act of self-care releases the best that is within me and allows me to live a whole, full life. Reflection Time: Reflect over what came up for your over the week and what does this mean to you. What have you learned about yourself? Journal your thoughts and any further action you want to take. Personal Note: If you want more accountability, me your self-care routine to assist you implement this plan consistently. Final Exercise: Complete the Following: After completing this 21-day challenge, I have decided to do things differently going forward and have developed habits to support my intentions of living a whole, full life. I am better aware of the woman that I was created to be and tapping into my inner whole woman. After you have completed the following sentences, recite them aloud. I am beginning to. I am accepting. I am committing to. I am no longer. 7

8 Conclusion: Over the last 21 days, you engaged in exercises that have awaken the best that is worth bringing forth- your inner whole woman. No matter what changes you have made over the last 21 days-whether they were small or largeknow that they are all significant. Research shows that in 21 days you can develop a life changing habit. You have begun to develop valuable skills that will assist you embrace the whole woman you were created to be. Remember that this will be an ongoing process so be patience with yourself. You will benefit from continuing to acquire and practice these skills to experience the fullest of your whole self. Whether you feel like it right now or not, you were created a whole woman so allow your best to come forth. Be encouraged! 8
