A number of chefs, chosen by James Beard Foundation, will offer up tastings along with a full array of cocktails, beers, and wine/champagne along with music/dancing and other surprises. Boston magazine and the James Beard Foundation will include on the invitation list as guests: the hottest chefs in Boston, including current/former James Beard Award winners and nominees; restaurant owners; VCs and business/restaurant investors; media/publicists; leading politicians and city leaders; high net worth audience members of the Boston magazine readership. The Power of Ideas Date/Time: Nov 5, 2014 (Symposium) and Jan 2014 / June 2015 (Salons), April 2015 (Launch) Location: District Hall Est. Guests: 500+ (Symposium), 50+ (each salon), and 300+ (Launch): C-suite, entrepreneurs, VCs, business owners, media, VIPs Description: The Power of Ideas is a first to market print/digital/experiential program centered on Boston s most influential thought leaders and how their ideas are changing the landscape of Boston. This program reaching our 3+ million audience each month through print, digital, and events connects our clients to the most affluent influencers in Boston with multiple touch-points. In November, our salon expands and is transformed into a one-day, extensive think-session where 500 leaders in Boston will congregate to hear a series of talks, in-depth interviews, panels, and breakout sessions on a variety of topics: all centered around the power of ideas in Boston, and those who are bringing them to us. The program continues into 2015 with our second 50-person intimate salon, gathering yet again those who were featured in the magazine and digital profiles. TASTE 2014 Date/Time: Nov 17, 2014 Location: Boston Children s Museum Est. Guests: 700 (Ticketed Event- General public and VIP ticket holders, sponsors, staff, editorial, media, VIPs, chefs, and restaurant industry) Description: Boston magazine will host a fun filled event to celebrate the November Dining issue featuring the local culinary scene and the talented chefs that proudly stand behind it. Boston magazine s 5th annual Taste event will be a decadent evening of fine food, wine, beer, and custom cocktails. This event promises to wow partygoers while raising money for the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB). A portion of the night s proceeds will benefit the GBFB and their endless fight to support hungry families in our region.

Health & Wellness Retreat Date/Time: January 2015 & May 2015 Est. Guests: 300 affluent women age Description: Boston magazine s healthy-living section, Hub Health, comes to life at our signature Health & Wellness Retreat. We ll host up to 300 affluent and engaged women at this exclusive retreat, where leaders in the health, fitness, nutrition, and medical industries share the latest advancements in their respective fields. Sponsorship opportunities capitalize on this highly-coveted brand through several benefits including, but not limited to, in-book exposure, online visibility, onsite display, and product sampling. Boston Wine Expo 2015 Celebrating Wine, Food & Culture Date/Time: February 14-15, 2015 Location: Seaport World Trade Center Est. Guests: 9,000 consumers & 2,000 food and wine trade attendees Description: Boston is a foodie s paradise and the seventh largest wine market in the nation. To honor this historic region s passion for food and drink, the Boston Wine Expo celebrates its 24th year and will transform into an entire week of festivities celebrating wine, food and culture from the greatest wine-growing regions of the world. As the exclusive magazine partner, Boston magazine will be promoting the Wine Expo and providing an opportunity for corporate partners to leverage this extensive event to promote their brand to this desirable audience. Guests: 250 (Most powerful individuals profiled in issue, Business leaders, C-Suite Executives, and Politicians) Description: In our annual May issue, we highlight the individuals (and sometimes the organizations) that are making/shaping the city of Boston. In our 2015 issue, we will profile up to 50 of the most influential Bostonians whose ideas are changing the city. At our annual event hosted by McGladrey, invites some of the city s most powerful individuals to network over cocktails and hors d oeuvres (from a celebrity chef in town) followed by a panel/discussion pertinent to the issue. HUB HEALTH SERIES: Ladies Night Out Date/Time: Quarterly, Weeknights, 6-8pm 2015 Location: Varies Est. Guests: 150 health conscious women Description: Each quarter, we partner with leading health organizations/institutions in the Greater Boston area for a cocktail/hors d oeuvres reception followed by a panel or informational session on a hot health topic of choice. These intimate gatherings bring our health-focused female readership in direct connection with our leading health partners. Plus our health editor, Melissa Malamut joins each event as a special guest and addresses the audience on general health news in the city. Museum of Fine Arts: Concerts in the Courtyard Date/Time: July-August 2015 (8 concerts) Location: Museum of Fine Arts Est. Guests: Adults age Description: As part of Boston magazine s exclusive relationship with the MFA, we have opportunities for our clients to gain access and sponsorship rights to MFA Concerts in the Courtyard. Since its introduction to the Boston summer music scene in 1983, the Elaine and Jerome Rosenfeld Concerts in the Courtyard have become one of the city s most anticipated seasonal events. The eight-concert season runs each summer through July and August and showcases a diverse musical selection representing a cross-section of regional, national, and international artists and a variety of genres such as jazz, folk, reggae, and rock. The broad range of performances attracts a multi-cultural and multi-generational audience spanning a wide variety of musical tastes and backgrounds. BEST OF BOSTON 2015 Date/Time: July 2015, 7-10pm Location: Undisclosed Est. Guests: 1,000 (Best of Boston winners, VIPs, celebrities, and media) Description: This annual, highly anticipated event celebrates the winners from the August 2015 issue of Boston magazine, the Best of Boston issue at a unique downtown location. Attendees include winners and their guests, sponsors, media, Boston business leaders, and the Boston magazine VIP guest list. The night takes on a very hip vibe from stylish signature cocktails, live music from local up and coming bands, dancing, and more.

4 THE COOKOUT Date/Time: August 11-12, 2015 Description: The 2nd annual Cookout kicks off with a sizzling hot foodie s dream: BBQ, BBQ and more BBQ. Day two features our popular 4 th Annual Battle of the Burger program. Both events are ticketed for the general public and each will host 1,000-1,500 guests each. See details for each event below. NIGHT ONE: The Cue: 2 nd Annual Date/Time: August 11, 2015 Est. Guests: 1,000 (Ticketed Event- VIPs, select media, local celebrity chefs, clients from the restaurant community, and extreme foodies) Description: This smoking hot event will bring BBQ to Boston. The 2nd annual BBQ Classic will feature a select group of leading BBQ chefs in the Boston area, cooking tastes of their famous dishes to a hungry audience, and showcasing what is hot and trendy in the BBQ industry. While at the event, guests will also be able to quench their thirst with bourbons and whiskeys and taste other summer classic foods like grilled shrimp and corn, clam chowder, and the ever-popular ice cream bar. NIGHT TWO: BATTLE OF THE BURGER: 4th Annual Date/Time: August 12, 2015 Est. Guests: 1,500 (Ticketed Event- VIPs, select media, local celebrity chefs, clients from the restaurant community, and extreme foodies) Description: Boston magazine will host the 4th annual Battle of the Burger in Boston. Leading up to the event, we ll invite Boston magazine readers to vote online for their favorite chefs/restaurants. The top 20 vote recipients will be invited to compete at this one day event and battle for the coveted trophy and title of Burger Champ. A the event, guests will be able to sample burgers from the competitors and place their final vote at the event. Museum of Fine Arts: First Fridays Date/Time: First Friday of the month, all year Location: Museum of Fine Arts Est. Guests: 1,000 adults age (per event) Description: As part of Boston magazine s exclusive relationship with the MFA, we have opportunities for our clients to gain access and sponsorship rights to MFA First Fridays. MFA First Fridays premiered at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston on November 1, Now an established part of Boston's weekend social scene, MFA First Fridays is held on the first Friday of each moth year-round in the stunning Shapiro Family Courtyard; the central hub of the New MFA. An evening of art and entertainment for Boston s social and business elite, MFA First Fridays attendance averages 1,000 per evening with the majority of visitors between the ages of 25 and 54. Guests are invited to meet with friends, expand their social networks, and listen to a popular DJ or live music, ranging from reggae to jazz in a beautiful and inspiring setting.
