21 Permit Test While proceeding through the course, you may see a pop-up screen offering an online permit test (which is the Road Rules and Road Signs Test). Here are several things for you to know: 1. The permit test is something you take IN ADDITION to the course final exam. The entire Driver s Ed course, including the final exam, is free. 2. There is a convenience fee of $30 to take the test online. This is in addition to the permit fee you will pay at the DMV (around $50). 3. You must be years old to take the permit test. 4. If you would like to take the online permit test, please first complete the Driver s Ed course so you will be better prepared to pass the permit test.
22 Benefits of Completing this Course Driver s Education 1. Raise your high school GPA. Final Exam Review 2. Earn ½ an elective credit. 3. Satisfy the state graduation requirement of completing an online course. 4. Receive a Drug and Alcohol Certificate required to obtain permit/license. 5. Possibly lower your car insurance rates.
