1 IDENTIFY YOUR FEARS & LIMITING BELIEFS Way to get those goals down sister!! Now that you have all your goals down it s time to get real and be TOTALLY HONEST with yourself. The more honest you are with yourself the deeper your transformation and the greater your ability to create the life you truly want. For every goal you have, write down on the next page any fears or limiting beliefs that come up. Everyone has fears and limiting beliefs and we carry them around with us everyday, so remember that you re not alone and please don t judge yourself as you do this. You re writing these down so you can simply get them out of hiding (what the saboteur likes to do) and bring them into the light so that you can recognize them and begin releasing them. Here s the thing, once you actually look at your fears and limiting beliefs you can see they re not very powerful and they don t get to dictate your choices and actions. If you find it difficult to identify which fears or limiting beliefs might hold you back on some of your goals, simply notice that annoying negative-nelly voice and then pay attention to your body. If your mind can t identify the fear or limiting belief, your body will tell you. Simply notice what physical sensations you feel when you look at your goal do you feel anxious? Maybe your breathing quickens or your stomach starts tying itself in knots or maybe you get really tight in your chest, neck or back. I ve been there. Those are some of the physical symptoms I feel when I m starting a new goal or making major changes. As you tap into the feelings in your body and notice what the negative inner chatter is, you ll start to understand the various thoughts and beliefs that might work against you in achieving your goals. So just get them all out of your head and onto the following page. Dig deep and come up with at least 10 fears and limiting beliefs. Once you get them down you can begin to challenge them head-on and conquer them!

3 OVERCOME YOUR FEARS This step is very challenging, but also super-fun and EMPOWERING for you! You re going to look at every single fear and limiting belief you wrote down and ask yourself: Why is this fear utter BS? and Why is this limiting belief simply not true? The moment you face a fear or limiting belief in this way, you can begin to think of reasons why and find evidence, that the fear or belief simply is not true, and isn t real. Here s the thing, when you first ask yourself these questions, you may find yourself thinking, But this is true this is silly why would I have these thoughts if they weren t true? I understand I used to think that too. Here s what you do. For each fear or limiting belief, you ll look for evidence in your life. You can recall past experiences or look all around you for the evidence that proves that it s not true. For example, when I first separated from my ex-husband I had a whole lot of fear and limiting beliefs around being a single mom, being able to survive in one of the most expensive places to live in the country, living 3,000 miles from family members AND the effects of the divorce on my 2 young kids. To conquer these thoughts and get my mind right I looked first at my past. I realized that I d moved around the country several times before and always found community and support for the kids and I. And even before the separation I was the primary caretaker of my kids, so there was nothing new there. And whenever I worried about the kids or felt doubtful about my situation I looked around for success stories of other divorced mothers. And there was no shortage of those. So I was able to say to myself, Hey, if they went through it and are okay, I will be too! So go ahead and write down on the next page every single reason you can think of for why the fears and limiting beliefs you have about your goals are just not true that they re just a bunch of BS! Dig deep on this one as you do you ll see how little power these fears have over you if you just get them out and confront them.

4 WHY MY FEARS & LIMITING BELIEFS ARE BS!

5 CREATE NEW BELIEFS This is my absolute favorite step in this simple 3-step process. It s super empowering! It s where you get to let go of and leave your fears and limiting beliefs behind and create what will become your focus: new beliefs that will help you achieve your goals. So take a look at the goals you ve written down and ask yourself: What beliefs would a successful person who achieved these goals need to have? More than likely, they ll be pretty much the opposite of all those fears and beliefs you wrote down. Plus, we already know from everything you wrote on the Overcome Your Fears sheet why those fears and limiting beliefs are just total BS. So now you re ready to stand in your own power, claim your Shero and declare the new unlimited beliefs you need to achieve every single one of your awesome goals! Here are just a few of the beliefs I ve used, to give you a sense of what I mean: The universe is supporting me, guiding me, and bringing me into alignment with my desires. I am perfect, whole and complete as I am I am manifesting strong, supportive and healthy relationships. Saying no so I can make time for myself IS the way to success Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow Order and organization help me to live a clutter free life I trust myself, my gut never fails me I am growing and changing for the better. Mistakes are just an apprenticeship to achievement. I trust the universe, my angels, and myself that I am always taking guided action and on the right track in my personal and professional life. I manage my time much more efficiently and it s freeing Taking care of myself IS the way to success The Universe is abundant and I m constantly seeing its abundance in my life. These are just a few examples. Now it s time for you to write out your new beliefs that are going to get your mind primed to achieve your goals.
