1 Your calling is where your passions meet the world s needs -Frederick Beuchner Your Business Sweet Spot is where your unique skills, training, experience and talents perfectly align to support the needs of your ideal client. Knowing your Business Sweet Spot is an essential part of your business success because it helps you clarify your marketing message, identify what clients you work best with and gives you a unique selling positioning that nobody else in your market can fill. To say it simply, owning your Business Sweet Spot will allow you to stand out from the crowd and be the go-to expert your clients are looking for. This worksheet will help you clarify the different components of your Business Sweet Spot which include: your strengths, your weaknesses, your values/beliefs, your personality traits, unique skills, why you care and why you serve. In future modules, we will cover who you help and how you help.

2 Your Why People don t buy what you do, they buy why you do it. -Simon Sinek Your why is the driving force behind your business. Knowing your why helps create an emotional connection with your customers which helps create client loyalty. While massage is readily available nowadays, you are not. Answer the questions below to get clear on your why. To understand the power of your why, make sure to check out Simon Sinek s TED Talk here. Why did you become a Massage Therapist? Why do you personally receive massage? What is the value in your life? Why do you believe massage is important for your clients to receive? Summarize your Why in one sentence below and share it in the Facebook group:

3 Your Experience Part of what makes you YOU is your personal experience. There is nobody else on this planet that has walked in your shoes. Nobody else has your professional experience as well as your personal experience. Understanding your story will help you relate more to ideal clients and let them know that you understand how they feel AND how to help them get results. What modalities are you trained in and what are you really good at treating? Who do you love working with and how do you help them? What professional experience, other than massage, do you have and how do they help your clients? What makes you more than an average Massage Therapist?

4 Your Experience What challenges/obstacles have you overcome in your life? What did you learn from these experiences? What comes so easily to you that it feels like it should be common sense? What do people ask from you when they reach out for support? What lights you up and makes you feel fulfilled? What drains you that you want to avoid?

5 Values and Beliefs Values represent the qualities most important to you in your life those that you want to live by and live for. Building your practice and lifestyle around the values that guide you will transform the way you participate in your life and create more joy, gratitude and purpose for you and business. When your business is aligned with your values and beliefs, you and your clients thrive. What are the core values and beliefs that you live by? One a scale of 1-10, how well are you honoring your values and beliefs currently? What made you choose that response? How can you honor your values and beliefs in your business? How will staying aligned with your values improve your business?

6 Boundaries Now that you are clarifying your Business Sweet Spot, you also want to get clear on the boundaries you need to stay in your sweet spot. Having clear boundaries set up for your business helps keep you healthy so you can serve your clients to the best of your ability. Boundaries can include scheduling limits, cancellation policies, availability and days off. What days/times will you be available to see clients? What scheduling limits will you enforce in your business (example- I only see 4 clients/day.)? What is your cancellation policy? How will you notify clients of your cancellation policy? How will you enforce your cancellation policy? What other boundaries do you need to have to stay healthy in your business?

7 Your Sweet Spot Map Get Creative! Make your own Sweet Spot Map to outline what makes you and your business shine! For each category, fill out 3-5 things that make you stand out from the crowd! Post your map in the Facebook group using the hashtag: #mbmhomework. **Keep in mind that we will be exploring your ideal client and your services in future modules.
