No matter what you fear, positive, self affirming action can diminish or completely cancel that which you are fearful of. Hang this on your vision board, look at it every day,

7 7 and constantly remind yourself that action diminishes fear and moves you forward. [Opening Night Music] Action Steps: #1 Decide today to identify as a minimalist. No, you don t have to live on 100 total items, but if you begin calling yourself a minimalist today, you can begin the most important challenge of all transforming the way you think about all of the things you let into your life. Becoming a minimalist is about much more than living out of backpack. It s about being intentional with everything you own, every project you pursue, and every piece of matter that takes us space in your brain. Choosing to call yourself a minimalist today will get your started on the path to clearing the physical, mental, and psychological junk out of your life for good. #2 Read Joshua Becker s book, The More of Less. This really is a great book, and it has been challenging me to re look at everything I own and ask the question, do I need this?

8 8 Do I truly care about this thing? Is it worth it to continue owning, cleaning, and organizing this item, OR, and I better off without it? As you read Joshua s book you can t help but stop and think about your overstuffed closet, or the drawer in your kitchen that has gotten so cluttered you can t ever find what you re looking for. Right now, as you are hearing this, if you are getting that feeling in your gut that you know there s something to be purged from your life, then this book is for you. #3 Choose an inspiring quotation to hang on your vision board. I usually have between 6 and 10 inspiring sayings, verses, quotations, or phrases on my vision board at all times. There s not a day that goes by that I don t find some inspiration in one or more of them. You don t have to choose the same quotations that I have, but that one from Mark Victor Hansen is really good! Whatever you choose, make sure it s personal and inspiring to you right now in your current season of life.
