The Youth Media Alliance (YMA) is pleased to announce the French-language youth television programs and interactive productions shortlisted for an Award of Excellence. The winners will be announced during the awards gala to be hosted on May 23 rd at the Maison de Radio-Canada. 3 Award of Excellence for Youth Personality Daniel Coutu (Par ici la magie, Science ou magie) Pier-Luc Funk (Le Chalet, MED, Code G, La soirée Mammouth) Pascal Morrissette (Cochon dingue, Juste pour ados) The Award of Excellence for Youth Personality will be presented for the first time to a person of influence with young people and who stands out for its uniqueness, audacity and positive impact on all platforms. During the gala, the YMA will award the YMA Parents Award (Best Interactive Content Ages 2-7) and two Kids Choice Awards (Best Television or Web Series Ages 8-11 and Teens) with the nominees to be announced in early May. Also to be awarded are the Outstanding Achievement Award, the Emerging Talent Award and the prestigious Grand Prize The Awards of Excellence Gala 2018 will be produced, thanks to the contributions of our partners and sponsors: Principal Radio-Canada; Gold Télé-Québec, the Shaw Rocket Fund and PMT; Prestige the Canada Media Fund, the Independent Production Fund, Goupe Média TFO, VRAK, Desjardins du Quartier-Latin de Montréal and Châtelaine; Excellence the Bell Fund, Téléfiction, Apartment 11, CTVM.info, Furaxe, Trio Orange, KOTV and the SODEC.
