01 10 Cutter Blades Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Fit all 10 pieces into the rectangle tray. Acrylic Put-together
01 10 Cutter Blades Puzzle Solution: Solution unavailable.
02 4Hex Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Assemble the seven pieces to satisfy the following: 1) First form a shape that is made of four regular hexagons and all eight dots are visible 2) Form the same overall shape as in part 1, but with only seven dots visible. Acrylic Put-together
02 4Hex Puzzle Solution: Two solutions, but they are essentially same. One of them is shown as follows.
03 4x4x3 Rhombo Box Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Put the four pieces back into the box. 3D printed, hand-colored ASS-POLY
03 4x4x3 Rhombo Box Puzzle Solution:
04 Albis Ball Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Put-together, take apart hand-colored plastic INT-Sphere
04 Albis Ball Puzzle Solution: Take apartt With light force, twist the puzzle can be opened, that rarely works for the first time! Put-together Two pieces are right and two are left handed. Arrange the pieces R-L-R-L and put them together simultaneously.
05 Alexandria's Diamond Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Assemble the two pieces by folding into a convex solid without holes. 10 Rhombic bars MDF, 32 magnets and adhesive tape ASS-POLY / FOL-HSEP
05 Alexandria's Diamond Puzzle Solution: Irregular Rhombic Dodecahedron:
06 Ball In Cylinder No 1 Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Remove the hidden ball bearing from the aluminum cylinder. Aluminum and steel Sequential movement, dexterity
06 Ball In Cylinder No 1 Puzzle Solution:
07 Ball Snake Pyramid Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Select a challenge card (30 are included in 5 difficulty levels), and snap the pieces together in the order specified by the color sequence. Then assemble the ball snake(s) into the target shape(s), with the aid of the appropriate base plate. 3D printed nylon and laser-cut acrylic 3D assembly
07 Ball Snake Pyramid Puzzle Solution: A solution to each challenge is given on the back of the card.
08 Binary Bud Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Notes: 1) Rotate each of the "leaves" from the open position to the close (blocking) position. And then vice-versa. 2) Find the shortest solution with the minimum number of moves. Acrylic, vinyl, hardware Sequential movement The top piece can block and be blocked by the leaves; and the leaves can block each other.
08 Binary Bud Puzzle Solution: The Start position is the when the crowns of all of the green disks/leaves is upward. Only one leaf can be turned at a time and the sequence of such turnings corresponds to reflected binary Gray code. However the solution can be realized by variation of this code. To begin to solve the puzzle it is necessary to position the top white element (with the green-yellow cap) and locate its claw properly between the crowns of the two adjacent leaves (figure 2). One of the leaves, as shown in figure 1, differs from the other five. In fig. 2 all the leaves are labeled 1 to 6 counterclockwise and the special leaf is the 6th of the set (figure 1). The upward orientation of a leave's crown is represented by 1, and the inward position by 0. (figure 3) Each of the 6 positions for the claw is analyzed. 2. 1st and 2nd 3. 2nd and 3rd 4. 3rd and 4th 5. 4th and 5th 6. 5th and 6th Solution Dead end Solution Dead end Solution Dead end Solution Dead end Solution For the remaining position (6th and 1st): Turning of the 1st leaf is impossible because the 6th leaf fixes it. 2nd leaf can be turned and lifts down the claw. The station is But this is dead end. There may be other dead ends when the movement begins as in each solution sequence but proceeds improperly. The Figure 3 demonstrates the start and the end stations of the Bud. The 3 rd /4th variant is the shortest solution. Dead end Crowns Fig.1 Fig.2 Fig.3
09 Books/T.V.? Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: 1) Orientate the four blocks like books, then like a TV screen. 2) Orientate books in 1234 order. 3) Orientate books in 4321 order. Oak and pine D sliding
09 Books/T.V.? Puzzle Solution: Notes: 1 & 3 have pins near number. 2 & 4 have pins away from number. One shape can be used to push against another. The 4321 order is achieved by shape flipping so numbers show on other side. If an inside shape is halfway out, look at next door pair of shapes. End shape moves back. Next one slants crookedly to side. Then halfway shape moves in place.

16 Dispersed GC Lock Puzzle Solution: If the slide switches are label the switches 1-9 (red), as shown in the photo. the 1st switch can be moved freely from one compartment to another. the 2nd switch moves only when the 1st one presses the catch. the 3rd switch moves when the 1st and the 2nd switches press simultaneously against the catch. Each of the higher switches can be moved when the previous two switches firmly press the catch. A switch in the opened or closed compartment is represented by the digit 1 and 0 (blue), respectively. The move sequence to lock the puzzle is: 1) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) Here the nine digits correspond to the switches with increasing labeled numbers from right to left. 2. 37 19 Elevator Puzzle Puzzle Goal: Materials: Classification: Notes: Move the square panel out of the tube. MDF, oak, and metal pins 3D maze and route The square can move with gentle pushes with finger access at both ends of tube. The square has four pins in the sides.two pins act like hinges so the square can "flip" one way, then other pins take over so the square can flip the another way. ("Flip" means a quarter rotation like a door opening.)
19 Elevator Puzzle Puzzle Solution: Square can be flat as at beginning or vertical through some moves. Moves: Begin with T shape opening at top. 1. Square can flip 2 ways. One is dead-end so flip other way. 2. Square slides down tube to bottom. 3. Vertical square shuffles across (pins move up stepped grooves) and a little distance down. 4. Square flips to flat position. 5. Now square flips other way. 6. Vertical square shuffles across tube (pins move in stepped grooves). 7. Square is near opening and goes flat. 8. Square flips to other pins in grooves and then can exit the tube. Note:when replacing square in tube, one possible position doesn't work.
