3 The Raptor Fair was established in 2014 and since then has grown into the premier event of its kind in the north of England. Held in the grounds of the National Centre for Birds of Prey in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. It is a specialist falconry show devoted to showcasing the very best of everything associated with birds of prey and falconry in the UK and abroad. The Fair is designed to appeal to falconers, their families and anyone with an interest in this ancient sport. Visitors also get full access to the National Centre for Birds of Prey. We believe this makes the Raptor Fair exceptional value for money and will ensure a good attendance. By bringing together high quality equipment manufacturers, falconry clubs and raptor experts we will enable visitors to engage face to face with their suppliers, instead of trawling through the internet with the risks that entails. The National Centre for Birds of Prey is located within the grounds of Duncombe Park, the only stately home within the North York Moors National Park. The site is only a 10 minute walk from the market town of Helmsley ( Helmsley provides a wide range of hotels, B&Bs, bars and restaurants. Helmsley is the main tourist hub of the North York Moors National Park. The Park attracts in the region of 7 million visitors a year and 34% of these visitors come to Helmsley.

4 A basic camping area will be provided so visitors can come for the whole weekend. A BBQ will be available in the centre s grounds on the Saturday night. A (free) camping area for the use of exhibitors is available. Please note that the Fair is held within the grounds of the National Centre for Birds of Prey therefore no dogs are permitted within the centre grounds. However the surrounding parklands provide excellent dog walking. A mews will be provided for prebooked hawks. No hawks on stands please Venue will be held at the National Centre for Birds of Prey, Duncombe Park, Helmsley, North Yorkshire YO62 5EB. This houses the largest collection of birds of prey in the north of England and is set in spacious grounds within ancient woodland and rolling parkland.

We are committed to delivering another high quality event that offers visitors an entertaining and action packed weekend. Special Show Features The entrance price for the Fair includes full access to the National Centre for Birds of Prey together with its world-class collection of raptors. We have a dedicated lecture theatre where we will offer free seminars and lectures on various subjects. These have always proved very popular. The lecture theatre is equipped with audio visual equipment. Previous seminars have included Veterinary Aspects of Captive Raptors, Hunting with Black Sparrowhawks and Vulture Conservation in South Africa The flying ground is central to the whole Fair, and will host a number of high quality flying and dog demonstrations. Previous demos have included dog training tips by Yorkshire Gundogs, Nigel King from Imperial Bird of Prey Academy, Natalie Denolf from Belgium, Trevor Fowles, Dr Nick Fox with the Robara and, of course, the NCBP s own staff and hawks.

6 How to get Involved and Exhibit All the stands will be close to the flying ground. We have done all we can to keep the cost of exhibiting as low as possible. The stand prices are low and camping for exhibitors is free. Please book as soon as possible as marquees and tentage needs ordering well in advance of the Fair. You can buy stand space in two ways. You can book space only and provide your own marquee or you can book a shedding stand that comes complete with a marquee. Regional Clubs qualify for a substantial discount on stand prices - this discount is at least 50%. In addition all stands have an allocation of free tickets - these are detailed on the booking form on the back page. Space only, 3m deep. All plus VAT 3m 55 6m 110 9m 160 Canvas Shedding.
