6 Pipeline Over the last 30 years, NVI has inspected over 100,000 miles of both offshore and land-based pipelines. We closely monitor industry trends so we can anticipate the needs of our pipeline customers. As hydraulic fracturing became more accepted and economically viable, we worked hand in hand with producers, transmission companies, and constructors to build, repair, and improve the nation s pipeline infrastructure for natural gas and liquids. We have located our operations strategically, giving us the ability to provide on- and offshore pipeline inspection in the Appalachian Basin, Bakken Shale, Barnett Shale, Haynesville Shale, Marcellus Shale, Eagle Ford Shale, Tuscaloosa Marine Shale, Utica Shale, and along the Gulf Coast. NVI also specializes in assessing mechanical integrity of pipeline systems and related facilities, enabling customers to maintain them properly and extend their life. Our NACEcertified experts perform cathodic protection surveys, anode installation services, corrosion mapping, and advanced C-Scan and guided ultrasonic longwave inspections, as well as turnkey anomaly verification, inspection, and repair services for operators of existing and legacy pipelines. Aviation Nondestructive testing is critical to aircraft integrity. NVI inspects aircraft during assembly and after they are put in service. Although materials used in aircraft are designed to withstand some damage, flaws, and fatigue cracking can ultimately cause components to fail. Our job here at NVI is to detect imperfections before this threshold is reached. Our inspectors use NDE methods capable of pinpointing discontinuities that would be impossible to detect visually or without disassembling the plane.

7 Construction & Fabrication NVI s construction and fabrication experience runs the gamut from the largest offshore structures in the world to typical vessels and heat exchangers. We have also inspected compressor stations, LNG and CNG facilities, subsea modules, refineries, power plants, tank farms, and countless client-specific structures. At NVI, we can take on this range of projects because we have assembled an experienced team of technicians who combine industry expertise with ASME, API, PED, and AWS certifications. You can depend on them to deliver the highest standards of traceability and quality assurance even on the most complex projects while meeting demanding production schedules. Manufacturing When you manufacture mission-critical products like blowout preventers, it is often up to you to demonstrate that they are in compliance with all relevant statutory and contractual requirements and that every instance of the product will function as expected. In these cases, nondestructive testing may be your only option. At NVI, we offer a variety of inspection services including radiography, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle testing to verify product integrity and quality. We are also licensed by manufacturers to ensure that components sourced from other vendors meet their requirements.

8 Marine Our extensive experience in marine construction and operations makes NVI the cost-effective partner for marine inspections. We understand that speed and accuracy are critical for marine operators that each day spent in dry dock represents lost revenue as well as expense. Accordingly, we employ seasoned marine technicians who have inspected hundreds of motor vessels and are proficient in the inspection of hull structures for both ESP and non-esp vessels. To ensure that our reporting department can provide the quickest possible turnaround, we have located our offices in ports along the Gulf Coast (Mobile, Aransas Pass, Houston, and Houma) and the Mississippi River (Belle Chasse and Harahan). NVI is an approved provider of class inspection and hull diminution surveys for International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) members such as the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Lloyd s Register, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), and the Isthmus Bureau of Shipping (IBS). Amusement In this industry it is important to inspect the conditions of the amusement park rides to ensure the safety and uninterrupted service during times of heavy use. The most common services that are provided for this specific industry include Visual Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Dye Penetrant Inspection, and Ultrasonic Inspection.

9 Petrochemical & Refining Extreme pressures and temperatures and highly volatile and caustic materials are the norm in petrochemicals and refining. As a result, safe and continuous operation requires constant vigilance. NVI s nondestructive testing and inspection services give petrochemical and refining businesses the insight they need to avoid shutdowns and to direct their inspection resources strategically. Working closely with our customers, we deploy specialized petrochemicals and refining teams from our erosion/corrosion and mechanical integrity programs. Once our products safety management experts determine appropriate corrosion measurement locations (CMLs), they can identify issues that need to be addressed immediately, establish a schedule for retesting, and provide recommendations for changing out equipment. Using our proprietary software, we can map the location of every CML, providing customers with the latest inspection information at each site as well as a summary of recommendations. Infrastructure Every day, bridges, railroad tracks, water and telecommunication towers, and other types of infrastructure are subjected to naturally occurring stress and fatigue for extended periods of time. NDE methods such as phased array, ultrasonics, radiography, magnetic particle, and visual inspection are the most common methods used to ensure the public s safety.
