3 SPOOLBASE AND MULTI JOINT SERVICES Pipeline Technique prides itself on its ability to deal with difficult specifications and has many years of experience in welding of pipelines, from carbon steel to alloys, duplex and other exotic materials, for sour service and fatigue sensitive applications. This enables us to use this experience and technology on the industry s challenges going forward but also allows us to offer top quality services on standard material flowline and riser lines at competitive rates. Our ability to understand project related challenges enables us to offer lump sum services and help you quantify both risks and opportunities. From provision of welding services to full site management including pipe handling, we can operate in and manage every aspect of your project. Modular Facilities In addition to our ability to manage our clients permanent spoolbase or double joint facilities we are able to mobilise, set-up and commission fully modular spreads to any work site or fabrication yard worldwide within a short timeframe. The modular equipment spreads can be set up in various configurations to allow for fabrication of Double, Triple or Quad joints (6-36 OD) or to be set up as a spoolbase firing line (4-18 OD). Each system incorporates fully integrated safety systems to prevent people and moving pipe coming into contact, for example by use of light curtains, sensors, limit switches barriers and ready light systems. These systems are all adjustable to specific scope requirements and controlled by programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

4 ONSHORE MULTI JOINTING Pipeline Technique has experience in the provision, erection and commissioning of custom built facilities and equipment for Multi-jointing Projects, in addition to the operation and maintenance of client supplied facilities since Working across the globe, to date we have safely and successfully completed hundreds of thousands of welds in Europe, the UK, Angola, Indonesia and the USA on a wide range of pipe materials, sizes and applications. We can provide a solution to suit your needs. From a simple one or two station layout for welding and NDE only, all the way to a large facility that will include management, pipe handling, NDE, multiple welding and FJC stations in the most efficient configuration to meet your production requirements within the available space and schedule. Production Equipment To guarantee consistency on the project, we have a large pool of production equipment that is either: The best equipment available on the market Developed in-house to exceed the current market offering Our production equipment can be used on pipes sizes up to 48 diameter and of a wall thickness up to 2 in harsh environments whilst maintaining quality, repeatability and consistency in production. All key personnel (for example welders, bevellers and coaters) receive full training on operation and understanding of the production equipment. Full technical support is provided by a team of technicians to maintain and repair or replace the equipment outside of critical time, minimising downtime and therefore affect on production.

Firing Line Capabilities We can configure our firing line within the spoolbase facility to accommodate either single or double pipe lengths. This allows for us to take full responsibility of the pipe within the facility, from the inbound to the tie-in station at the quay side. As a result of the operation and management of the full firing line during production we can continuously review and revise improvement of the cycle time per station. Combined with reliable equipment and our specialist trained workforce we can achieve a safe and productive work environment, and meet or improve upon client production requirements. With emphasis on quality and consistency during the development of our weld procedures, we reduce the risk of weld rejects in production and prevent re-work and downtime on the project. Our project teams target repair and cut-out percentages less than 1%.
