3 Allbirds Shoe Start-up
4 Lifestyle Photography With the launch of Allbirds' sophomore silhouette (as well as a new color release) the photographic style was elevated to better showcase the breadth of the company. Going beyond outdoor shots and adding elegant evening settings, this campaign pushed Allbirds from small startup to industry disrupter. Was involved in model selection, location scouting, and assisting in creative direction. Implemented these photos across multiple platforms, including web, , postcards, lookbooks, press kits, and social media.
5 Product Photography Directed product shoots that were used for web, s, lookbooks, and press kits. Was tasked with developing a series of shots that showcased the shoe in the most appealing way, while maintaining visual consistency across products.
6 Retail Store Launch Social Media Assisted with the opening of Allbirds' flagship retail store. Designed external and internal signage. Collaborated with the marketing team on creative direction and production of social media, a core marketing tool for a direct-to-consumer company. 7 Wordmark / Brand Extension Smallbirds was the first full extension from the Allbirds name, establishing itself as a sub-brand. In addition to concept direction and brand positioning, a new mark was designed. Encompassing all things kid, Smallbirds needed to stand apart from the current branding without straying too far from the original designs.
8 Mimicry Inspiration for the Smallbirds design stemmed from the Allbirds mark. Using the original wordmark's distinct "S" and bouncy curves, the new lowercase "s" quickly became a child to its predecessor. The end result was a form that was instantly recognizable; inherently Allbirds. As an extractable element, the new lowercase "s" would replace the original for all branding and applications of Smallbirds.
9 Process The process began with studying the geometry and form of the Allbirds logo. This included hand-tracing the original mark and then redrawing on paper to better understand the subtle nuances of the mark. From there, both pencil and digital ideations were explored.

12 Bold Futurist A person who has influenced the world through their contributions to technology. The series celebrated three futurists and their respective field of work; Samuel Morse and Morse Code, Nikola Tesla and a circuit board, and Elon Musk and binary code.
13 3 Technical Pioneers Each person's work was built on the foundation of those before, tying all of these futurists to a common goal. These individuals' overlapping ideologies of a forward-thinking, and progressive society was the driving force of the concept direction.

16 Vinyl LP In Pure Heroine, Lorde transformed the seemingly mundane life of a suburban teenager into a modern-day epic.
17 Life in Color The artist's synesthesia drove the concept from beginning to end. How does one visualize hearing music in color? Vibrant hues and dreamy gradients overlaid on black imagery added dimension to an otherwise simple scene.
