This speed allws the light curtain t be munted clser t the pint f hazardus peratin. The MiniSafe MS4600 series cnsists f an identical length transmitter and receiver, cmbined with a cntrller and apprpriate intercnnecting cables. The in-line cnnectr cables allw the munting f the transmitter and receiver in crwded lcatins where a standard cnnectr wuld nt fit. Fr ther applicatins, the machine guarding requirements fund in sectin 90. apply. The MiniSafe meets ANSI cntrl reliability requirements fr pint-f-peratin presence sensing devices. All cntrllers have CSA-CUS acceptance and are designed t meet UL508. MiniSafe systems emplying cntrllers have been EC type examined t the requirements f categry 4, EN 954- (type 4, IEC 6496). The MiniSafe shuld nly be used n machinery that can cnsistently and immediately stp anywhere in its cycle r strke. Never use a MiniSafe n a full revlutin clutched pwer press r machine. If the light curtain des nt prtect all access t the pint f peratin, the unprtected access must be guarded by ther apprpriate devices such as mechanical guards.
