3 Introduction Section 01 Our Objectives These guidelines have been produced to ensure we communicate a strong and consistent brand expression for A. Careful control of our brand is important and these guidelines have been developed to: - Ensure desired communication values of our brand will be expressed in the right way to the right audiences - Set and maintain the highest level of professionalism and quality across the spectrum of our communications - Reflect the vibrancy, richness, diversity and energy of A How to Apply the Brand These guidelines show the application of the brand elements colors, typefaces, images and layouts across a range of digital media.
4 Section 02 Our Visual Identity Our visual identity, known as A is an essential part of our brand and cannot be altered in any way, shape or form. It is defined as: brand testing shows that placing our logo on a colored background makes it much harder to recognize as an A asset. There is good brand equity in our logo which will have increased visibility and clarity in all communications. The logo has been carefully designed. The artwork should never be altered. Do not stretch, distort or recreate it in any way. Part(1) Part(2) Part(3) It is defined as: White alphabet A in a blue square background and rest of the ero next to the A of Aero. should be underneath A.
5 Other Options Available for Visual Identity Our visual identity can be used without. The first two parts A and ero can also be used.
6 Logo Sizes Usage The logo should always appear in Blue and Grey (Pantone 7462, Pantone Grey grey 416) or CMYK. It can also appear in monochrome on advertising where color is not available. The minimum size for using the logo is 30mm x 15 mm. If this is too small for an application (i.e. on a pen) or the 15 mm Minimum Size 30mm proportions are unsuitable (such as a name badge), then a special usage version may be applied. 12mm The minimum size for icon of the logo is 12mm x 12 mm. 12mm Minimum Icon Size
7 Color Pallete Color Palette The A, Color Accuracy There is natural inconsistency in color across different media and printing processes. When working in media that does not use PANTONE color, use the values in the chart on the right to match the PANTONE color. These listed color values should help to provide the best color consistency. CMYK CONVERSION VALUES Blue Grey Cyan: 10 Cyan: 0 Magenta: 50 Magenta: 0 Yellow: 00 Yellow: 16 Black: 10 Black: 50 RGB CONVERSION VALUES Blue Grey Red: 0 Red: 157 Green: 98 Green: 155 Blue: 167 Blue: 141 PANTONE Blue Grey pantone 7462 pantone 416
8 Logo Format Color/Process Usage Print Where special 2 color specials Pantone 7462 (blue), 416(grey) You can also use CMYK colors or four color process is available. and RGB if available. Where one color only 1 color black line and tone is available and screen tint quality is good. Where one color only is available and screen 1 color black line tint quality is limited, e.g. newsprint. This version of the logo may be used for foil blocking. For special processes 1 color black keyline such as engraving, foil blocking or blind embossing.
9 Usage on Picture A logo can be used on any picture in any of the following ways: - Use a blue transparent strip and use the logo in white color - Use a white background behind the logo - Use the blue background with logo and reverse the logo in white
10 Usage on Different Backgrounds A Logo on Light and Dark Backgrounds For Light Background For White Background For Dark Background For Blue Background Grey Logo on Blue Background
11 Wrong Usage This page shows some examples of misuse of the logo. If you need advice about a specific application please contact us. The logo should not appear on an image. Color logos should not be applied to documents which are to be printed in black and white or the logo will print with no visible contrast.
12 Usage on Black Background The logo is also available in a full knock-out version. The full knock-out version should be used in place of the original black and white logo when background color or when photographic backgrounds make the original black and white logo illegible. If using the full knock-out version of the logo on a solid background color, the background must provide adequate contrast.
