2 News Briefs - On the Road Again! Our Quilt Show presence is continually expanding with the addtion of April s Quilting in the Sun Country Quilt Show in Red Bluff, California to our schedule. Presented by Red Bluff s Sun Country Quilters Guild, the show runs on Saturday, April 1st, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, April 2nd, 10 am to 4 pm at the Tehama District Fairgrounds (650 Antelope Blvd, Red Bluff). With over 200 quilts on display, door prizes, demonstrations, quilt and gift basket drawings, and a boutique and food available, there is plenty to see and do. The featured quilters, Roxanna Bradley and June Kirk, will be available both days to show off their work. In May we will be exhibiting at the Springtime in the Pines 33rd Annual Quilt Show at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, California. Presented by Grass Valley s Pine Tree Quilt Guild, the show runs on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th. For hours and additional information, visit the Guild s website at The show will feature a Tribute Honoring the Quilts of our Foremothers which will display beautiful and historic antique quilts. A Quilt Appraiser will be on site both days by appointment or walk-in to appraise your pre-1960 quilt. Written ($85) and Oral ($25) are available. (For Appoinments, PTGG@comcast. net, or call ) The show will also feature Vendor Booths, a Country Store, Quilters Cafe, Door Prizes, and a Botique. On Sunday at 3:00 pm there will be an Opportunity Quilt Drawing, followed by Drawings for Baskets at 3:30 pm. Quilt n Thyme will have its own booth at both of these shows, in which we will exhibit a quantity of products that are availble at our store. Stop by to see what we offer and meet with our staff representatives. to distribute to children displaced from their homes. Quilt donations for the challenge need to be no larger than 45 x 60 inches and must be finished and bound to be accepted. Quilts are needed for children ranging from infants through teens. Children and novelty print fabrics on the bolt will be 25% off for the duration of the challenge. For each quilt donated you will receive a ticket into a drawing for a $250 gift card to Quilt n Thyme Sew & Vac, Inc. An additional ticket into the drawing will be awarded for each quilt donated that uses at least 50% fabric purchased at Quilt n Thyme Sew & Vac, Inc. during the challenge period. All donations must be received by close of business Friday, April 29, 2017 to receive tickets for the drawing. Any donations made after April 29, 2017 will not be eligible for the drawing. Drawing will be held Monday, May 1, (The 25% discount on children and novelty prints cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.) - Expanded Vaccum Lines Added!
