3 1. STATUS Several work group teams have been working since the beginning of the year to go through all of the last 17G ballot to resolve comments/objections and rework the text accordingly, along with moving sections between 17G and 17G1 that were misplaced in the previous ballots. Table of Contents for 17G and 17G1 (listing all of the section subjects revised/moved) are at the end of this report. A revised letter ballot draft for 17G has been completed and sent to API for ballot submittal on May 27, Work groups are currently working on resolving outstanding comments/objections of all remaining text now residing in 17G1. Target for resolving all comments is June 30, and rewrite and proofread of the text is July 31. Comments received from the comment ballots in 2016 for working drafts of 17G2, 17G3 - titanium, 17G3- aluminum, and 17G4 have been resolved, but any further work on revising text has been put on hold until the parent documents (17G and 17G1) are out for letter ballot vote.
