1 A Prestigious Party Pack Designed By: Julie Beltramo March 2012 With the awesome new Designer Rosette Big Shot die you can make this cool, but simple banner for a special party. These six-inch rosettes make a big statement on any wall or shelf! In this project you ll see how you can make the coordinating favor boxes with the same die!! Add the quick and easy invitation, and you re ready to party! Change up the colors and letters on your banner, and you can make this for any event. Instructions Step 1 Use six 3 x 11 pieces of Real Red card stock and run them through the Big Shot with the Designer Rosette die. Lay each piece of card stock onto the die lined up so that the last two sections are not covered. Don t worry about how close to the edge the card stock goes over the scallops, just make sure the scallops are covered. After running the card stock through, take two of them and stick together using Sticky Strip, making one long strip.

2 Step 1a Step 1b Step 2 Use Sticky Strip on the last section, and adhere the ends to make a tube of both sections. Place the scallop edged side down and press the middle down to create the rosette. Set something heavy, like a punch, on top of the rosette to hold it in place. Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Use the 2-1/2 Circle punch to punch out six 2-1/2 circles from the 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 pieces of Real Red card stock. Take out two of those circles, and put hot glue onto one. Take off the punch that is holding the rosette down, and press the hot-glued circle onto the center of the rosette. Turn the rosette over, hot glue the second circle, and adhere it to the back of the rosette. Repeat Steps 1-3 to complete all three Real Red rosettes.

3 Step 3a Step 3b Step 4 Take four 3 x 11 pieces of Basic Black card stock pieces and run each piece through the Big Shot. This time lay each piece on the zigzag edge, again not covering the last two sections on the die. Follow the same directions as with the other rosette, adhere the ends, make a tube, and press down the center. Use the 2-1/2 Circle punch and the four 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 pieces of Basic Black card stock to make four 2-1/2 circles. Use two of the circles to hot glue and secure the center of the Basic Black rosette. Repeat to complete a second Basic Black rosette. Step 4a Step 4b Step 5 You now have three Real Red rosettes and two Basic Black rosettes. Lay them out so you have a pattern of red, black, red, black, and red. If your 2-1/2 circles aren t perfectly centered (like mine!), don t worry they will be covered with a larger circle later.

4 Step 5 Step 6 Use three 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 pieces of Real Red card stock and two 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 pieces of Basic Black card stock to punch out five 2-1/2 circles. Gently fold each circle in half, use the Crop-A-Dile, and punch a 3/8 circle into the half circle. Do this on each of the five circles (three red and two black). Take 60 of Basic Black 5/8 satin ribbon and weave it through the punched holes, keeping the circles in a red-black-red-black-red pattern. Step 6a Step 6b Step 7 Use the hot glue to adhere each of the circles (keeping them attached to the Basic Black 5/8 satin ribbon) to the back of the rosettes. Don t worry about how close or far apart they are, you will be able to adjust them after they are glued. Just keep the glue in the center area as shown.

5 Step 7a Step 7b Step 8 After gluing on all of the backing circles, you can adjust the spacing between the rosettes by pulling the ribbon. Step 8 Step 9 Use the Big Shot with the 3 Circle die, and five 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 pieces of Basic Gray card stock to cut out five 3 circles. Use the 2-1/2 Circle punch and the five 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 pieces of Silver Glimmer Paper to cut out five 2-1/2 circles. Then use the Big Shot with the Alphabet Simple Letters dies, and five 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 pieces of Basic Black card stock to cut out the letters p, a, r, t and y. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to stick the circles and letters together. Step 9

6 Step 10 Flip the rosettes over so that the satin ribbon runs across the back. Then glue the letter circles onto the front of the rosettes. Step 10 Step 11 To make the favor box, take a 4-1/4 x 11 piece of Real Red card stock. Lay the piece of card stock onto the die, covering the scalloped edge and leaving the last two sections uncovered. Then from the bottom edge, use a Paper Cutter to score a line at 1-1/2. Step 11a Step 11b Step 12 Crease the 1-1/2 score line you just made. Then crease only the 1 st, 5 th, 11 th and 15 th horizontal score lines (made by the die). From the bottom, trim along the crease lines up to the 1-1/2 score line. Trim off the single bottom flap and put Sticky Strip on the top of that section. Step 12

7 Step 13 Stick the ends together, overlapping the one Sticky Strip section to create the box. Fold the bottom flaps in and use Sticky Strip on the last flap to close up the bottom. Tie a 16 piece of Basic Black 5/8 satin ribbon around the box and tie in a knot. Step 13a Step 13b Step 14 Using the 1-3/4 Circle punch and the 2 x 2 piece of Silver Glimmer Paper, punch out a 1-3/4 circle. With the 1-3/8 Circle punch and the 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 piece of Basic Black card stock, punch out a 1-3/8 circle. Stamp here s to you from the Friendly Phrases stamp set in Jet Black StazOn ink on the 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 piece of Basic Gray card stock. Use the 1-1/4 Circle punch to punch it out. Glue the Basic Black and Basic Gray circles together, and use Stampin Dimensionals to attach them to the silver circle. Attach the whole circle stack to the front of the box with Stampin Dimensionals. Step 14a Step 14b Step 15 Put about five Hershey s Nuggets into a 3 x 5 Cellophane bag. Tie the top with an 8 piece of Basic Black 5/8 satin ribbon. Place into your favor box!

8 Step 15a Step 15b Step 16 To make the card, fold in half a 4-1/4 x 11 piece of Basic Black card stock. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to stick a 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Real Red polka dot Designer Series Paper (DSP) onto the 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Real Red card stock. Step 16 Step 17 Using the 2-1/2 Circle punch and the 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 piece of Silver Glimmer Paper, punch out a 2-1/2 circle. With the Big Shot, the Simple Alphabet Letters die, and the 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 piece of Basic Black card stock, die cut a 2 circle. Stamp YOU RE Invited from the Sincere Salutations stamp set in Jet Black StazOn ink on the 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 piece of Basic Gray card stock. Use the 1-3/4 Circle punch to punch it out. Glue the Basic Black and Basic Gray circles together, and use Stampin Dimensionals to stick the Basic Black onto the Basic Gray circle. Use the larger hole on the Crop-A-Dile to punch a hole through the top of the circle layers.

9 Step 17a Step 17b Step 18 Stick Stampin Dimensionals onto the back of the circle layers. Run the 16 Basic Black 5/8 satin ribbon though the holes and around the card. Stick the circle layers onto the card front, and tie the ribbon ends into a knot. Use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere to the Basic Black card base. Step 18a Step 18b
