4 Undergrund Elbw Sense Current & Vltage Mnitrs Our ElbwSense Current and Vltage Mnitrs use prven CT and vltage sensr technlgy frm the riginal Lindsey CVMI and fit standard 600 amp T-bdy 15, 25 and 35kV cnnectrs. They are easily retrfitted t existing padmunt r submersible equipment. These sensrs may als be used with utdr, verhead munted equipment that use standard elbws. The ElbwSense vltage mnitring plug replaces the standard plug insert furnished with all 15 t 34.5kV, 600 Amp T-Bdy elbw assemblies. Instead f relying n an inaccurate capacitive test pint, the encapsulated, precisin, resistive vltage divider prvides a 1% accurate AC signal prprtinal t phase-t-grund vltage. The ElbwSense Current Mnitring Ring is a special purpse windw type current transfrmer sized t fit ver 600 amp r 200 amp elbw cnnectrs. These ElbwSense Current Mnitring Rings are sealed and encapsulated in a durable, waterprf husing and fitted with a watertight cnnectr.

SmartPin & ElbwCap Technlgy The SmartPin current and vltage sensing system is a lw cst slutin fr mnitring verhead distributin lines. The system cnsists f three sensr pins capable f supprting standard pin insulatrs (vertical rientatin) and a cntrl bx fr calibratin and display f readings. Each sensr pin cntains a hall effect current sensr and a capacitive vltage divider.

The SmartPin cntrl bx displays a current measurement frm each phase, calculates and displays neutral current, displays fault alarms and lss f vltage alarms. Pwer fr the unit can be 120/220 VAC 50/60 Hz, r 12 VDC. The ElbwCap current and vltage sensing system is a lw cst slutin fr mnitring undergrund distributin feeders. The system cnsists f three sensrs that snap nt the capacitive test pint f standard 200A and 600A elbws with a cntrl bx fr calibratin and display f readings. Each sensr cntains a hall effect current sensr and a capacitive vltage divider (with the same features as the SmartPin). Undergrund: DC Pwer Supply The DC Pwer is prprtinal t the current thrugh the CTs. The pwer supply can deliver 20W DC pwer with nly 50A thrugh primary undergrund cable, 50W with 300A and 65W with 600A thrugh primary undergrund cable. The three sealed, split-cre CTs can be installed n a single phase r n three separate phases. Watertight cables cnnect the CTs t the watertight DC Pwer Supply enclsure. The enclsure is cnnected t the mtr peratr, cmmunicatins system r battery with a watertight 12ft (3.6m) cable and terminals.
