2 ISONIC AUT 16 / 32 are prtable multi-channel instruments designed fr servicing as the cre cmpnents f highspeed autmatic ultrasnic testing (AUT) machines and prcess mnitring systems ISONIC AUT 16 / 32 cmprises 16 / 32 identical independently adjustable channels. Each channel cmprising pulser, receiver, and 100 MHz sampling rate signal digitizer (A/D Cnverter) has 2 prbe terminals t drive either single r dual element prbe r prbe pair. The highest scanning speed is achieved thrugh the parallel pulsing, receiving, digitizing, and recrding f signals by all channels in use. Hwever in the case f crss-talking thrugh the material is pssible the instrument s channels may be tggled t wrk sequentially r rganized int several grups f few channels wrking at parallel each (cmbined mde). The PRF f up t 5 khz per channel is prvided Superir signal t nise rati and dynamic range are achieved thrugh firing prbes with up t 400 Vlt pp bi-plar square wave initial pulse. The duratin and the amplitude f bth psitive and negative half-waves f the initial pulse are tuneable in the wide range. Further it is prvided high stability f the firing amplitude selected by an peratr within entire pulse width while the leading and falling edges f the bi-plar initial pulse are electrnically bsted. Electrnic damping circuit prvides ptimal amplitude / duratin rati fr the received signals Every channel is featured with 3 independent gates; beside regular functins the Gain per Gate Adjustment is pssible fr each gate this allws implementing f pulse ech and back ech attenuatin inspectin techniques simultaneusly, interface ech synchrnizing, suppressin f large gemetry eches, etc ISONIC AUT 16/32 electrnics is als featured with: multi-axis encder interface scanner mtr cntrl and pwering interface interface fr the external pedal and/r push-buttn start/stp inspectin inputs user prgrammable lines fr driving paint guns, audible alarm sirens, GO/NO-GO parts srters, and the like user prgrammable prprtinal analgue utputs fr the signal TOF / amplitude The apprpriate terminals are prvided fr any cmbinatin f the abve external devices in accrdance with the autmatin requirements Scpe f ultrasnic inspectins perfrmed by ISONIC AUT 16/32 includes multi-channel thickness gauging, pulse ech, pitch-catch, and thrugh-transmissin flaw detectin, TOFD, and the like. The instruments are packed int the rugged prtable light weight IP 67-sealed cases, which may be either fitted int the scanner s chassis r munted int a cabinet at the statinary inspectin deck r just drpped nt the grund while in the field. A remte PC cnnected thrugh LAN and apprpriate inspectin sftware package are required t cntrl the instrument. The pre-scanning rutine includes cmpsing f multi-channel scanning strategy and autmatin lgics fllwed by the calibrating f each channel invlved. At the scanning stage the raw data cmprising digitized ultrasnic signals and crrespnding encding infrmatin is streamed t the remte PC, which prvides high-end prcessing, feedback t the instrument and external devices, imaging, lgging, strage, etc. Fully digital cntrl and data transfer allw practically unlimited distance between the instrument and remte PC enabling flexibility f creating cntrl rms r multiple mnitr statins thrughut the factry / hangar / weld statin, etc A variety f heavy duty prbes fr AUT are available alng with ISONIC AUT 16/32 instruments
