2 TSUBAKIMOTO CHAIN CO. Plastic Chain series expansion Tsubakimoto s Plastic Chain series has been further expanded with the introduction of the Ultra Low Friction specification (). This specification has been released for use with the Stainless Steel Pin use TTP and TPH models. The coefficient of friction has been reduced by 15% ~ 30% compared to the previous MW specification (For dry conditions). This Ultra Low Friction function, which was previously unavailable, is particularly suitable for use in the wide range of areas that have problems with slip functioning. With this product expansion, use and operation for customers is even further improved. Attention: The link material of the Ultra Low Friction Specification () has been combined with a silicon-based lubricant. Please do not use in printing processes as there is a concern of smearing of printed matter. TTP-D Type *Width 82.6mm 1143mm With the sales release of the series comes the addition to the main model, TTP, of TTP-D type. (Plastic Pin and Stainless steel Pin specifications can be produced) TTP-D type can also be produced for specifications other than Ultra Low Friction. (Refer to Page 2.) Allowable Tension graphs The Plastic chain specification is the result of the pursuit for further improvements in Low Friction. Compared to the previous specification MW (MWB & MWG), Maximum allowable tension is 30% less. Although the strength lessening is roughly the same and friction resistance also dropped (Drop in effective tension) there is no concern when replacing the previous specification. 6 Parts TSUBAKIMOTO CHAIN CO. Sprocket TTP type can use the TTP specialized sprocket as is. For TPH type, please use the conveyor component (Part 200) sprocket or the TTUP sprocket. Running rail Under dry conditions when there is no lubrication, so as to control wear dust as much as possible, please use the M Plastic rail, A Plastic rail or a metal made rail. Under wet conditions with lubrication, please use the P Plastic rail (New light). Return roller As the specification has excellent slip functioning, this may affect the rotation of the return roller. When the return roller s rotation is not smooth, wear dust may occur or wavelike wear may occur on the surface of the Top plate. Please use the IR60 Inside roller under dry conditions with no lubrication or Part 11 roller under wet conditions with lubrication. * Please refer to the related catalog (Following section) for these parts.
