Special groove-forming profiles now also make it easy to install BUVA tempered glass windows in PVC frames. The aluminium profiles provide a smooth finish to the groove and a connection for the fittings. The ISO-PLUS 2000 series bottom-hung and inward-opening casement windows are equipped with a double stop, providing good performance in wind and water resistance. Dimensions and installation Dimensions Ordering tempered glass windows is easy. The aluminium auxiliary profiles are custom supplied and pre-drilled, together with the tempered glass windows.

The standard aluminium profiles are enamelled in RAL 9001, other RAL colours are of course available to order. The BUVA order forms can be downloaded from buva.

16 Dimensions and installation Dimensions Ordering tempered glass windows is easy. The aluminium auxiliary profiles are custom supplied and pre-drilled, together with the tempered glass windows. The dimensions of the tempered glass windows and aluminium profiles are determined based on the groove sizes of the frame. The standard aluminium profiles are enamelled in RAL 9001, other RAL colours are of course available to order. The BUVA order forms can be downloaded from buva.nl for a fast and complete ordering process. Installation 1. First, install the aluminium top and bottom profile (cut at right angles) and then the left and right profile (grooved) and screw the profiles tight. 2. Centre the window in the frame, mark off the hole pattern for the hinges and pre-drill them at 4.5 mm through the aluminium profile. 3. Then pre-drill the holes in the frame and the steel box section. Diameter depends on the type of screw used. 4. Place the window and attach the hinges with stainless steel screws that are 4.2 mm wide and of sufficient length (depending on the profile system). 5. Then install the window fastener or striking plates. A number of window fasteners, such as striking plates for bottom-hung windows and combi-stays, are already screwed on. In the case of inward-opening casement windows, you must make your own rebate for window catches in the aluminium profile. Full installation instructions can be found on 16
