The Portal Machining Center series is designed for applications in the aircraft-, tool and die-, powered-vehicle-construction-industry in addition to general mechanical engineering. If neccesary Portal Machining Centers can be linked with aditional machines. There is also the possibility to interlink Portal and High Machining Centers to form a flexible manufacturing system to machine large size components from rough material to the finished part.
