1 X1 (T-BAR) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL NOTES NOTE : Additional support to structural member may be required. Check with local building codes for requirement. 1. Place troffer clamp approx. 6 from housing end (See figure 1). Use 4 clamps per housing. Lift housing above T-Bar grid and lower it down until troffer clamps snap onto grid. (See figures 2 & 3). 2. Make all wire connections through access plates. 2 X3 (HARD CEILING) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CEILING PREPARATION 1. Cut ceiling opening to dimensions specified (See rough-in dimension) and screw mounting brackets onto metal studs (Figure 1) or ceiling joists. 2. Remove reflector from fixture. 3. Pull supply wires through K.O. into the fixture (Figure 2) and mount the fixture to brackets. 4. Make all wire connections and replace all reflectors. Install lamp(s) and snap all lens or louvers into housing. 5. ROWS: Insert aligner splines (Figure 3) before mounting the second fixture to brackets. 3 X7 (TRIMLESSS) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CEILING PREPARATION Fixture 1. Cut ceiling opening to dimensions specified (see rough-in dimensions) and screw mounting brackets onto studs or ceiling joists (Figure 1) Remove reflector from fixture. (See reflector removal) Install fixture into ceiling. Pull supply wires through K.O. into the fixture (Figure 3) Place installation guides inside fixture to prevent any deformation of 84 housing (Figure 5) during installation. Screw flange onto ceiling. Drive screws straight up, DO NOT ANGLE, will distort aperture opening. INDIVIDUAL MOUNTING: 96 Install lens to test for proper fit. If lens fits too tight or too loose, unscrew flanges from ceiling, adjust aperture opening accordingly 4 and re-secure flange to ceiling. Test lens again, and repeat until lens snaps in firmly. 5. Apply plaster around flange (Figure 4). 6. Make all wire connections and replace all reflectors. 4 JOINING DETAIL ALIGNER PINS REFLECTOR DETAILS REFLECTOR REMOVAL DETAIL Remove reflector assembly to expose mounting obrounds and ballast wire leads, squeeze and pull out at each end of reflector so spring clips disengage from clip support bracket. Determine FILLER location & measure length of filler needed Flush Filler Shown Filler Measure from last fixture to end of row WALL TO WALL 2. Disassemble FILLER Kit To right Filler Filler Measure from last fixture to ceiling opening (-5/16 for X3/X7) Measure from last fixture to connector LIGHT POCKET PATTERN 3. Mark cutline around housing Measure Trim and Mark for Cutting WALL TO WALL & PATTERN MEASURE REQUIRED LENGTH LIGHT POCKET MEASURE REQUIRED LENGTH 5 of 6

6 LED P23 Filler Installation P R UL I T E.CO M 4. Cut and discard Filler 5. Cut and discard reflector Drill and fix end plate REFLECTOR NOTE : Holes must be drilled on housing 7. Join housings 8. Install filler Seam Body Joiner LED TRAY ALIGNER PINS 9. #8 x 1/4 Screw (Staggered) NOTE: Do not cut or remove any section of LED tray as it will cause uneven lights levels in the filler kit. All sections of the LED tray should be rolledunder the led reflector in the previous fixture housing. Install s 6 of 6
