Installation Instructions for Cirrus Suspension Downlight with Power - End Feed IMPORTANT INFORMATION - This product is ceiling mount only. - This product is dimmable with single electronic low voltage dimmer. CS P_-E_-_ SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! Section One: " Flush Canopy Version A JUNCTION BOX NOTE: Before beginning any electrical work, ensure that power to the junction box is turned off. NOTE: Omit this section if using the " and 6" Surface Mount Canopy. Refer to Section Two. : Connect the white wire of the power supply to the 0VAC neutral wire with a wire nut. POWER SUPPLY NEUTRAL LINE VDC : Connect the black wire of the power supply to the 0VAC line wire with a wire nut. : Place the power supply and wires inside the junction box. B JUNCTION BOX : Feed the low voltage wires from the power supply through the crossbar center hole. CROSSBAR 6 : Mount the crossbar to the junction box holes with two #- screws. 6: Make sure the crossbar is grounded in accordance with local electrical codes. #- Section Two: " and 6" Surface Mount Canopy Version C : Remove the four Phillips screws from the canopy to remove the mounting plate. 2 D : Make sure the mounting plate is grounded in accordance with local electrical codes. : Feed the 0VAC power wires through the mounting plate center hole. : Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the #- screws. #- Section Three: Install the Standoff E STANDOFF : Determine the fixture height (H) from the bottom of the channel to the top of the canopy. H : Determine the fixture length (L). Measure the distance between the coaxial cable and aircraft cable on the channel. Mark the standoff location on the ceiling from the center of the junction box. NOTE: Omit Section Eight if the channel is made out of a single piece. TOP VIEW L STANDOFF F NOTE: Omit steps through if using support canopy. Refer to Section Four: Install the Support Canopy. : For each provided standoff, tap the anchor onto the marked location up to the threaded portion with a hammer. : Screw in the threaded portion of the anchors with a Phillips screwdriver. G ANCHOR : Feed the # screw through the washer with threaded nipple into the anchor. 6: Tighten the # screw completely into the anchor. WASHER WITH THREADED NIPPLE 6 : Tighten the standoff post completely onto the threaded nipple. # STANDOFF

3 H EXCESS 0 STANDOFF : Feed the aircraft cable coming from the channel through the standoff post. : Adjust the fixture height by pushing the tab and pulling the aircraft cable out of the side of the standoff post. Release the tab to secure the cable in place. 0: If necessary, trim excess aircraft cable using sharp cutters. Section Four: Install the Support Canopy (E Version) I CROSSBAR NOTE: " Support Canopy shown. Omit steps through if using " or 6" Surface Mount Support Canopy. : Mark points through the crossbar holes onto the ceiling. These points are used for the anchors. J ANCHOR : Tap the anchors onto the marked points up to the threaded portion with a hammer. Screw in the threaded portion of the anchors with a Phillips screwdriver. CROSSBAR : Secure the crossbar to the anchors using the two # screws. # K : Align the canopy with the crossbar and secure it using the two #-0 screws using a /6" Allen wrench. #-0 : Refer to steps through 0 in Section to adjust the fixture height. L PHILLIPS SUPPORT NOTE: " and 6" Support Canopies shown. 6: Remove the four Phillips screws from the canopy to remove the mounting plate. 6

4 M : Mark points through the mounting plate holes onto the ceiling. These points are used for the anchors. SUPPORT : Tap the anchors onto the marked points up to the threaded portion with a hammer. Then screw in the threaded portion with a Phillips screw driver. N ANCHOR # ANCHOR : Secure the mounting plate to the ceiling using the # screws. O 0: Align the support canopy holes and secure the canopy in place by tightening the four screws. 0 : Refer to steps through 0 in Section to adjust the fixture height. Section Five: Adjust the Cable Position P STRAIN RELIEF HOLD HERE #-0 SET SLIDING 0.0" ALLEN #-0 SET WARNING: To avoid damaging the coaxial cable electrical connection, make sure that the end of the coaxial cable coming out of the fixture is held with thumb before relocating sliding posts. : Loosen (DO NOT REMOVE) the #-0 set screw on the sliding post bushing and bed with a 0.0" Allen wrench. : Slide the strain relief tube out of the sliding post using a pair of needle-nose pliers. Q SLIDING : Carefully move the sliding post to the predetermined location on channel and tighten the #-0 set screw on the sliding post bed with the 0.0" Allen wrench. #-0 SET 0.0" ALLEN

5 R 0.0" ALLEN STRAIN RELIEF!CAUTION! Tightening the strain relief set screw CANNOT BE REVERSED. Only tighten the set screw AFTER the cable location is set properly. : Insert the strain relief tube back inside the sliding post bushing and tighten the #-0 set screw with the 0.0" Allen wrench. #-0 SET SLIDING S STRAIN RELIEF : Repeat Steps through for aircraft cables. #-0 SET SLIDING Section Six: Install the Coaxial Cable T " FLUSH SURFACE MOUNT CORD GRIP CORD GRIP NOTE: If cable is curled or kinked, straighten by holding between the shaft of a screwdriver and thumb and pulling the cable through (see inset). : Push the coaxial cable through the cord grip of the canopy. U WIRE STRIPPER BARE WIRE INNER INSULATION BRAIDED WIRE /" " /" NOTE: Scan the QR Code to watch the video clip of the following steps or visit : Use the AWG hole of the wire stripper to remove -/" of the outer insulation to expose the braided wire. : Use the AWG hole of the wire stripper to remove " of the braided wire making sure not to nick the inner wire insulation. OUTER INSULATION : Use the 0AWG hole of the wire stripper to remove /" of the inner insulated wire.

6 V COVER COVER : Unscrew the coaxial connector covers and remove from the connector assembly. W MM ALLEN.MM ALLEN ASSEMBLY M SET M SET 6 6: Using the provided.mm Allen wrench, remove the M set screw from the coaxial connector assembly. : Using the provided mm Allen wrench to loosen (do not remove) the M set screw. X COVER BRAIDED WIRE : Slide the connector cover over the coaxial cable. : Place the ferrule over the /" braided wire of the coaxial cable. FERRULE Y 0 0 ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY FERRULE 0: Insert the coaxial cable into the coaxial connector until the wires of the center conductor are visible through the M set screw hole. NOTE: Ensure that the split in the ferrule is aligned 0 from the M set screw (see inset). Z.MM ALLEN : Use the provided.mm Allen wrench to replace and securely tighten the M set screw. M SET ASSEMBLY 6

7 Z MM ALLEN M SET : Use the provided mm Allen wrench to securely tighten the M set screw until it squeezes the wire ferrule tightly to the coaxial cable. ASSEMBLY Z COVER : Replace the coaxial connector cover and tighten into place. NOTE: For " and 6" Surface Mount Canopies, make sure that the coaxial connector is placed inside the power supply housing. DO NOT place it inside the junction box. Section Seven: Power the Fixture Z JUNCTION BOX NOTE: Omit steps through if using " and 6" Surface Mount Canopies. Adjust fixture height by following step on page. : Connect the black wire of the coaxial connector to the -VDC power supply wire with a wire nut. : Connect the red wire of the coaxial connector to the +VDC power supply wire with a wire nut. : Place all connections inside the junction box. Z : Align the canopy with the crossbar and secure it with the two #-0 screws using a /6" Allen wrench. #-0 " FLUSH Z : Connect the white wire of the transformer to the 0VAC neutral wire with a wire nut. 6: Connect the black wire of the transformer to the 0VAC line wire with a wire nut. 6

8 Z6 JUNCTION BOX : Place all line voltage wires and wire nut connections inside the junction box. Z : Align the canopy holes and secure the canopy in place by tightening the four screws. : For fine adjusting the fixture height, push the cord grip to slide the fixture up and down until the desired height is achieved. Release the cord grip to lock the coaxial cable in place. Z 0: Install the optional louver to complete the channel assembly by pushing onto the channel over the lens. LENS 0 LOUVER Section Eight: Multiple Channel Sections Z NOTE: If applicable, multiple channels must be installed one by one. NOTE: Omit this section if the joiner did not come with the fixture depending on the overall fixture length. NOTE: Omit steps and if the joiner did not come with aircraft cable depending on the overall fixture length. JOINER JOINER : Feed the aircraft cable through the joiner. Lift the other end of the aircraft cable against the ceiling to mark the location of the standoff. : Refer to Section Three or Four to install the supports on the ceiling and adjust the fixture height.

9 Z0 JOINER BOTTOM VIEW FEMALE MALE LENS JOINER : Lift a section of the lens at the end of the channels where the connectors are visible. Slide the channel over the joiner and ensure the male & female connectors mate properly. : Push the lens back into the channel. Z JOINER TOP VIEW : Tighten the remaining #-0 set screws using the 0.0" Allen wrench. 6: Refer to Section Three or Four to install remaining standoffs and continue to connect additional channels one at a time until the fixture is complete. #-0
