1 Installation Instructions Striped Stair Nose GEMINI 5000-S SERIES _V1.0 The following instructions are general guidelines. Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local codes. Read through the entire instructions before beginning installation. Contact Celestial Lighting for further assistance. striped stairnoses are shipped in pre-cut sections. Obtaining accurate cut lenghts for the stairnoses is crucial. However, the Step stairnose nose can be field cut to length if necessary. It does not contain any electrical load or lights inside and does not require any power feed. Field cut striped stairnose to length to match the length bewteen wall to wall. The raceway will not be needed in this type of configuration as the stairnose will run the entire length of the from wall to wall. One 29 oz. tube should fill up to 90 feet of raceway. Mount to surface without the cover and secure with tapcon screws. (1 screw per foot recommended) The striped stairnose only provides definition and does not have any lights inside and does not require any electrical wiring. However, the raceway can be used to pass wiring from one area to another if necessary. If using the raceway to house wiring, lay the cables inside the raceway base before installing the cvoer.
