9 Section VN VERTICAL RAILING CONSTRUCTION NOTES - Top r ail holes. Top rail holes on underside of pipe (only) are drilled and tapped on 3.25" centers to accept INVISIWARE 5/16-24 threaded Studs for use with 1/8" or 3/16" diameter cable. Bot tom Rail Holes. Bottom rail holes are drilled on 3.25" centers to accept INVISIWARE Receiv ers for use with 1/8" or 3/16" diameter cable, as follows: V3 Railing Mat erial. Use Schedule 80 Steel or Stainless Steel Pipe. For ext erior applications, specify Stainless St eel Pipe, to prev ent pr oblems with r ust. Specify 1-1/4", 1-1/2" or 2" pipe. V4 Optional Cable Braces (Rail Braces)..625" diameter x.120" wall thickness type 4130 Chrom./Moly tubing or.625" diameter x mimimum.120" wall seamless stainless steel tubing. Cable Braces/Rail Braces should be used in place of a cable at least every 8th cable, to support the top and bottom rails under tension. NOTE FABRICATED COMPONENTS AVAILABLE FROM THE FACTORY: End posts, Top and bottom rails in sections up to 20 feet and corner sections are available from the factory in 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2" diameter pipe with all holes pre-drilled in top and bottom rails on 3.25" centers to accept INVISIWARE hardware using 1/8" or 3/16" cable. Cable braces (Rail Braces) are available from the factory, coped, to fit into pre-drilled top and bottom rail holes, where they can be welded into the frame. Cable can also be provided from the factory to specified lengths with threaded studs swaged on each end for fast field installation.
