1 Happy Happy New Year!!! Welcome 2016 :) It's Friday Funday!!!! So glad you have stopped by: So. Are you ready for a Challenge? I sure Hope So! :) So here is your Challenge!!!! Brick Wall Use your score board to create a wall! You don't have to tear it. I did I would love to see what you come up with! Here are two cards I made for this Tutorial & Challenge!

2 Enjoy the tutorials: ***** I started with a piece of layering weight White Card Stock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" First I have the paper turned so the 5 1/2" side is running along the top of the score board! (Landscape) I then score my lines on the 1/2" mark all the way down!

3 Then I turn the paper up so it measures 4 1/4 across the top. (Portrait) The score lines should be running side to side at this point! Then you can start scoring at any point you would like, I started at the 1" mark and went on down, second row, you want to off set the score lines! you can scoot over 1/2" or 1/4" how ever you want. I started the second row at the 3/4" mark and continued on down the line! :) Then you end up with something that looks like the third picture! <3 ********* Ok, then decide where you want your wall to be torn,

and just lightly pencil it in! I lay my stamps out to get a idea of where I might want them and to see if they will fit..! :) After tearing the paper you now have two pieces to make 2 cards!

So I will use the second piece to do just that ********* I cut the brick panel down to 4" wide. I wanted to be able to have a boarder! Then I pulled out the Kraft Ink and dauber and sponged around the wall to give it a little color. Then I stamped the Flowers on water color paper using stayz-on. I colored the flowers with Spectrum Aqua Markers! I Love playing with these! :) I then stamped the leaves using Jelly Bean

I didn't worry about getting out of lines, because I intend on cutting the flowers out! I also curved the petals with the small end of a paint brush. I just started at the tip and held it on the brush handle then slowly turned the brush to wrap the petal around the handle :) That gives a little curve. On the first flower to the left I

6 decide it was a new flower just opening so I just kind pinched the petal up and used a pointed end of my scissors in the closed position just at the tip of the petals to pinch the petal up so it would have a nice sharp crease. You can tell in the finished card! ******** I stamped a small dragonfly in Turquoise Sea and cut it out. (You can see in the photo that I cut the body off and just have wings and a little piece to keep them connected! I then took a piece of Ocean Mist card stock cut it to 4" x 5 1/4" then using Gina's White Ink, sponged in some clouds Just kinda smudged them on! I had some fun foam so I cut a piece for the back of the wall, glued it down and the glued it to the Background! So then it seemed that the clouds need a little shadow under them So I used Spectrum Noir Marker IG3. Also used this marker to make shadow around the Greeting and the green leaves hanging over the wall. Added Wink Of Stella to all 3 dragonflies & the Thank You Greeting (Be careful, I had a little bleeding of my black ink. I believe it was from my Marker. I don't know if I didn't let it set up long enough or what) But after adding Wink of stella it isn't to noticeable.

7 Because of that I will probably not give that card out! I'll give it to my Granddaughter to play with! :) ********* On the Second card, I cut the wall panel to 3 1/2" wide and cut a piece of white layering weight card stock 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 then using the vine image from the stamp set Wild Blossom I stamped the background in Fresh Asparagus As you can see I use my B plate from my cuttle bug for stamping this long large image! :) Using Spectrum Aqua Markers I colored the flowers on the stamp in Scarlet & the leafs & stems in moss. Huffed and stamped on the brick wall. Touched center of flowers with the Aqua Marker in Yellow. The Greeting is stamped in Fresh Asparagus!

Then with Ocean Mist Ink, sponge around the edges and moving inward to add a little color around the background. Stamped another little dragonfly and cut it out.

Stamped the same dragonfly on the wall area where I wanted it to be, and the glued down the little part of the body with wings that I cut out. This way the wings can still lift up off the page! To finish this card off, add Wink Of Stella along the edge of the broken down wall, dragonfly wings, and flowers. Bling around on the vines and the Greeting! :) Teal Aqua Marker for the lines in the wings!

9 Using a Card Base in Fresh Asparagus 4 1/4 x 11" Scored

10 at 5 1/2" then folded Taped down the layer with the vines then popped up the brick layer. Finished the insides and stamped the back! ********* Finished Cards! :) <3
