2 Star Gazing Cosy Penguin A Little Gift Happy Reindeer These cards show the different looks you can get using the same style card and embellishments and simply changing the colour scheme. One is a strong bold look with the traditional reds and greens and the other by using blues and purples creates a more subtle, magical feel. If you re making lots of cards for Christmas and you don t want to have to think of new styles each time, this is a perfect way to have a set design whilst mixing it up with colour for different friends and family members or to appeal to different customers if you re selling your cards at Christmas card fairs. For Someone Special These jolly Santa cards show how you can create a range of matching cards again but here the main change is the image, the sentiment and the embellishments. The colour scheme is the same - vibrant reds, greens and browns, and the design remains the same - with this simple yet stylish circular die and a red bow, so the different look you create is through using a different image and the chosen added extras such as the flowers and sentiments. 4 A Little Gift Happy Reindeer Cosy Penguin Christmouse Pudding These beautiful cards show how focusing on your colouring can be really satisfying as you can create a very artistic look with plenty of white space. Here they are done with watercolours, The use of simple shapes and the concentration being on the image means that the design really stands out and as these are such cute designs it s great to see them in all their glory! If you are a beginner. there are lots of video tutorials on our website and also on youtube on how to colour, and if you just follow some basic rules of shading and colour choices you can master it too! One useful tip is to create a colour chart for your pens and paints and choose colours from there, as they never look like they do on the pen itself!
