2 Wooden Spoon Rudolph Adult supervision required Have a go at creating your very own Rudolph this Christmas! Instructions Firstly start by painting your wooden spoon with brown paint and leave until fully dry. Cut out antler shapes from the brown foam. Cover your antlers in glue and sprinkle with glitter. Wait for these to dry. Once your antlers are dry stick them to the back of your spoon. To create your Rudolph s face, glue on the red pompom for his nose and wiggle eyes, then draw on his mouth with the black marker. You will need A wooden spoon Glue Brown paint A red pompom Glitter Wiggle eyes Black marker pen Brown foam

3 Wooden Spoon Rudolph Carefully cut out these antlers and use them as a template to draw onto your foam.

4 Christmas Baubles Adult supervision required Have a go at these easy to make Christmas tree baubles. What you will need Printer card Glitter Glitter glue Jewels Paints Bauble template Ribbon Instructions On your card print our bauble template, then cut all the templates out carefully and put into pairs. Use glitter, beads, jewels and other decorations to cover your baubles. Put a thin layer of glue on the back of two baubles, sandwich them together with a ribbon in-between making a loop. Repeat process for your other baubles. Leave to dry then hang them proudly on your Christmas tree!

5 Christmas Baubles Decorate then cut out these bauble templates. Glue two back to back with a loop of ribbon sandwiched between them.

6 Adult supervision required These tiny stockings are great as a special decoration for your tree every year! Ribbon Fabric glue You will need For the decorations Decorations: glitter, buttons, sequins Needle and thread Red felt Instructions Firstly fold your red felt in half and cut a stocking shape out carefully. Stitch your stocking shapes together but leave the top edge open. Using your ribbon create a loop by folding the ribbon in half and gluing the ends to the inside of the stocking. Decorate your stocking with decorations of your choice e.g. buttons, glitter, felt shapes, sequins or beads.

7 Carefully cut out the stocking and use it as a template to draw onto your felt.

8 Paper Plate Snowman Christmas is always more fun when it snows but if it doesn t, this fun activity will keep you entertained! Adult supervision required What you will need Small paper plate Big paper plate Sheet of black card Orange, brown and coloured card of your choice Round black stickers Glue Instructions Glue the two plates together to make your basic snowman shape. The smaller plate for the head and bigger one for the body. Place the round stickers on the plates acting as eyes, mouth and buttons. From the card cut out two twig arms, a carrot nose and a scarf. Glue these to your snowman. Cut out a black hat and attach to your snowman.

9 Gingerbread Men Gingerbread men are fun to make, decorate and eat! Adult supervision required! To make your gingerbread you will need 12oz (350g) plain flour 6oz (175g) light soft brown sugar 4oz (100g) unsalted butter 1 egg beaten 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) 1 teaspoon of ground ginger ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon (optional) ½ teaspoon of mixed spice (optional) 4 tablespoons of golden syrup Instructions Sieve the flour, spices and bicarbonate of soda into a large mixing bowl. Chop the butter into small pieces and rub in to the flour then mix in the sugar. Add the egg and syrup and mix into a dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and pop into the fridge for an hour. To decorate you will need A man-shaped cutter Icing pens Ribbon Small sweets, chocolate chips, glacé cherries Instructions Roll out your gingerbread dough on a floured surface until ¼ inch thick. Cut out the biscuits with your cutter and put them onto a greased baking tray (if you intend to hang them make a hole at the top). Preheat your oven to 180c or gas mark 5 and cook for minutes until they are golden brown. Once cooked place on a tray to cool for 10 minutes. When they are cool decorate them with icing and other decorations. Thread through cord or ribbon and knot to hang your men on your Christmas tree.

16 Winter Wonderland Suitable for 7-11 year-olds Poem Title... It s predicted this year we ll have a hard winter. Soon the trees will stand bare, the icy winds will blow and snowmen will begin to populate our snow-covered gardens! Some of us adore winter, we snuggle up with a lovely hot chocolate, enjoy Bonfire Night and frosty walks, or have snowball fights. But some of us would rather hibernate away with the hedgehogs or migrate south with the birds!
