Present: Artzer, Baker, Boyd, Faingold, Hirsch, Kohler, Mead, and Patton Excused Absence: Tom Desmond l. CALL TO ORDER Pledge of Allegiance ll. AGENDA a Motion to accept the agenda. Motion seconded and passed. lll. MINUTES AGC President, Emmanuel Boyd - we overlooked adding some information to the Financial Report in the December newsletter. We would like to inform our members that we have taken $300, out of our Chase investments account and deposited the money in a new savings account. We will be reinvesting this money into two CD s, one for 6 months and one for 9 months. The remaining $200, will stay in the current investment account b Motion to accept the overlooked information. Motion seconded and passed. lv. MEMBERS FORUM AGC Member, Harold Lee - Our Christmas party was a great success. Thank you to all who helped especially John and Debbie Price, Richard Parker, John Mead, Salina and three new trap people. Also a big thank you to Rich Dimisko and his marketing director Mark Guebet-Steward, from Cabela s, AGC Member, Refugio Silva - I would like to propose to the board that we keep our newsletter on the website for one year and then archive it. AGC President, Emmanuel Boyd - Earlier this spring we had an aerial photo taken of the club and I think it would be great to post this on our webpage. V. OLD BUSINESS Financial Report AGC President, Emmanuel Boyd - In November our revenues were $20, and our expenses were $4, leaving a positive net change of $15, Our YTD revenue is $210, and our YTD expenses are $239, leaving a negative year to date change of $29, Our account balances: Checking Account $157,530.85; Payroll Account $15,197.35; and Savings Account $612, Our assets with the JP Morgan Cash Holdings account is $15, Our Fixed income account balance is $127, Our Alternative Assets balance is $101, Total JP Morgan is $244, Maintenance 2nd VP, John Mead November was a very productive month. Richard Parker, Joe Benskin and John Price got the man gate installed. All of the wiring is complete and there are also some extra outlets which will help out with the swap meets. I received a bid for grading the road by the PSAC for making more parking. A light was installed above the door at the education building. I had a roofer come out and give an estimate on the roof of the education building and it has six tears in it. It s in really rough shape. He estimated $10,000 to replace it. We will look into this more this summer. I spoke with the Sable Fire Dept. and we will be putting together an AED training class sometime in January. The Arapahoe County hasn t received any new submittals for the land just north of us. I did review the information for a proposal of an RV storage area allowing about 250 RV s. I received a proposal form Suburban Propane stating that our charges will be approximately one half of what we normally pay. It was over $4.00 a gallon and will be $2.41 a gallon, winter rates. Also, I would like to establish a list of people with construction building, remodeling skills. These could include experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry to include rough and finish, cabinetry making, painting, tile work, and drywall. Old Business Continued 2017 Range Schedule AGC Secretary, Bob Hirsch Everything is in and the 2017 schedule is ready c Motion to approve the 2017 Range Schedule Motion seconded and passed. V. NEW BUSINESS Incident Report AGC Chief Range Officer, Terry Humbargar I have hired a new Range Officer for Saturdays. He suggested that we modify the shooting shelters with bright paint and some type of padding to help with people from hitting their heads. Work hours reimbursement rate AGC 1st VP, Chris Baker With the new changes in minimum the minimum wage, we will monitor the government guidelines and adjust accordingly. We are currently compliant with the minimum wage. Chase Checking Accounts AGC Secretary, Bob Hirsch I am updating our Chase checking accounts. Future plans for the Aurora Gun Club AGC Board Member, Dave Faingold Some of our members have asked what we plan on doing to maintain the club. I would like to suggest that we make it a premier place; leave a legacy. We owe the sport and club to make it the best around. I would like to discuss more shotgun events and to let everyone know that there are grants available. VI. BOARD ROUND TABLE VII. RECESS Vlll. EXECUTIVE SESSION lx. ADJOURNMENT PRESIDENT S CORNER On Saturday the 10th of December we had our annual Christmas Luncheon. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Thank you to all who brought in those delicious dishes. Thank you to John Meade for chairing the Luncheon Committee. Also, thank you to everyone who did anything to help this party be such a great success. Thank you to Rickard Dimisko, John Mead and John Price for putting together an outstanding list of Door Prizes. We had over 100 prizes from gun locks to 2ea stainless steel table top grills, ammo.22, 9mm,and 12 gauge shot shells with trap tickets, soft sided pistol & rifle cases are some of the prizes won by members. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to MARK GUEBERT-STEWARD and Cabel's Inc Mr. Guebest-Sterward is the marketing manager who graciously donated so many Cabela's products. Thank you so very much.

5 Announcements Volume 17 Issue 1 January 2017 Page 5 I will be holding U.S. Service Rifle classes in the Education Building that are open to our members, their families and friends. The first class for 2017 will cover the U.S. rifles 1903 and 1903a3 made by Springfield, Rock Island and Remington. Course will cover history, field stripping, loading, cleaning and maintenance tips. The first one is Jan. 21st 9a.m. to noon. Bring your rifles, NO AMMO. So come in from the cold and learn about these famous U.S. firearms.
