If you are a club member and have not renewed this year please see Mike Bailey or Tom Bebout and ask them if they are willing to take your money for another fun year. This year the national convention is in Phoenix, AZ (where the temps hit 100 ºF in May!). 1

2 Interested in writing an article or taking photos? The CSM Debrief is looking for original info on models, workbench techniques, or Roadside Relics you may see. If you desire to read the Debrief in glorious color, please send an to the editor (Rob S.) to get onto the list. Yahoo Group Cincinnati Scale Modelers has a webpage on Yahoo Groups plus our regular website The group is moderated by Scott Lane ( slane6@cinci.rr.com )and co-moderated by Rob Schorry ( rschorry@cinci.rr.com ). This is a way to communicate without using your home and might provide another channel for modeling info and tips. You have to join the group to access it. Tri-State Warbird Museum Exhibit Matthew Davis matthewdavis@insightbb.com We will do a change out of models in May or June. We will go with F4U's, AU-1's, and FG-1's. So break out those RN, Kiwi, and Central American decals and start building. Lets change things up and include 1/72 scale. Sorry, but 1/32 is too large. Since the museum has a jeep, let s add WWII era jeeps to the display. Both 1/48 and 1/32 will work for a Jeep. Early in 2011 we will display B-25's and T-6's so plan ahead, please. CSM Website Rebuild The club website escaped from our clutches when the domain name was not renewed. Don Flynn has been working with Steve Stohrrs and Jack Zeleznik and the website has now been brought back into the family and is getting a facelift. CSM Logo Items by Tom Bebout People may want to purchase more things to wear to the with the CSM logo on it. The company we used is EmbroidMe and they carry hats, t-shirts, sweat shirts, jackets, tote bags etc. They are at Reed Hartman Highway, Cincinnati, Ohio, ( ) Just walk in, view items in the showroom and tell them you want the CSM logo on it - probably listed under Tom Bebout or CSM. The people in the store are very helpful! Visitors by Rob Schorry Tom Neeson, a railroad modeler, visited our May meeting and brought a scratchbuilt narrow gauge 1/48 scale railroad flat car (see the picture section). He and I had a nice talk about Chopper IIs, digital calipers, and the fun of scratch building. Hope you come back, Tom! 2

6 Wonderfest 2010 Louisville Some of the CSM gang went to Louisville for Wonderfest 2010 which a friend once described as a Grateful Dead concert mixed up with a model contest and vendor room. 7 July CSM Picnic As in past years our July meeting will be a picnic. Sharon Woods Park on US 42 in Sharonville will be the place. We ll be able to grill food, sit in the shade, throw horseshoes, and play bocce ball and chat of course. More details will be coming soon, but please put July 11 th on your calendar as the date for the event. Donna Parker has graciously accepted the position of chief-vittles organizer and she will be keeping track of what food or picnic supplies you volunteer to bring.
