5 Special Energy eter Application Specific icroprocessor based solid state Energy meter Works on 3 Phase 4 wire principle Records Active Energy for every 15-min time block in Wh. (+ve sign for Wh export and a ve sign when there is a net Wh import) Two reactive energy registers, one for the period when average RS voltage is above 103% and for the period when the voltage is below 97% Working voltage of 63.5 V (Ph to N) Accuracy class of 0.2s Time stamped data Operating Voltage range +20% to -30% of Rated Voltage Operating Current range 0.2% to 200% of Rated Current Two types: 110 V,1 A and 110 V, 5 A Operates from power drawn on secondary side of PT Instrument Transformers of 0.5s accuracy class Stores data for a period of ten days, FIFO Interface points to be determined by RLDC eters to be installed and maintained by CTU
6 Average Frequency easurement: Computes Average Frequency for each 15 mins block from VT = Number of cycles in each block divided by 900 (15x60=900) Average Frequency of 15 min block stored as 2 digit code (00 to 99) Actual frequency in terms of Frq code = (2 digit code/100) aster eter (NP-2657-A) installed on 400 kv ahan line at KSTPS Alternate aster eter : SE at Durgapur ICT (NP-8804-A)
