Travel Information:- By bus upto Sapri. By train ( Narrow gauge) upto Ranital 15 Kms from CTC Sapri and By Air upto Gagal Air port- 43 Kms from CTC Sapri. Important Contact No :- Dy. Inspector General, Centralized Training Centre SSB Sapri Post Office Jawalamukhi, Tehsil Jawalamukhi District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) Climate :- The climate of CTC SSB Sapri is hot in summer from April to July (Temperature ) Monsoon remains active from mid July to end of the September (Temperature ) and is clold during winter October to March (Temperature ). Clothing :- As per climate. All the trainees are required to report at CTC SSB Sapri one day before the commencement of Course. The reception team detailed at the R.P. Gate of the CTC SSB Sapri will receive them. The entry of reporting will be made in the register individually. In the case of any problem in finding that location of CTC, Trainees are advised to make contact with the above mentioned telephone numbers for assistance. After making proper entry of reporting, individuals will follow the instructions of the reception team for their further arrangements. The trainees will be accommodated in built up accommodation as per availability. However, no trainee is allowed to keep their family during the training period. No trainee will be permitted to stay

Separate mess facility in Trainee Mess will be provided during the entire course, under the supervision of 01 officer, 01 SO and members of Mess Committee. Mess security will be deposited by the trainees in advance. The same will be returned to trainees after completion of Course/ Training. TV, DVD, News papers, Internet and Magazine etc will be provided to the trainees during training period. Library facility is also available at CTC SSB Sapri. Medical facility is available within the campus of CTC. Trainees are required to report timely to their Course Officer about their illness. In case any trainee is suffering from sickness, it should be brought to the notice of the course officer immediately. M.I. Room facility will be provided during the entire training. The Tanda Medical College is also situated approx 44 Kms from CTC SSB Sapri for Major Medical Treatment. Bank :- Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce are available at Jawalamukhi town away from 3 Kms from CTC SSB Sapri. Bank ATMs :- ATMs of above banks are available at Jawalamukhi town and the ATM of SBI is also available in CTC Campus. Temples :- Jawalamukhi temple situated 3Kms, Chintpurni Temple situated approx 25 Kms, Bagalamukhi Temple situated approx 20 Kms, Brajeshwari Temple (Kangra) situated approx 40 Kms, Chamunda Devi Temple situated approx 60 Kms and Shiv Mandir Baijnath situated approx 85 Kms from CTC SSB Sapri. Historical places :- Kangra Fort situated approx 40 Kms away from CTC SSB Sapri. Jawalamukhi Bus stand nearest debussing point. Regular bus services are available upto Jawalmukhi from nabouring States i.e from J&K, Punjab, Chandigarh & Haryana. The Govt. vehicle may be provided upto Jawalamukhi on the request of trainees. Sufficient arm & ammunition is available with this CTC for training purposes. However, No trainee is authorized to bring his personnel Arm & Ammunition. Hence, no Arm & Ammunition

During the training period, trainees are not allowed to keep their families with them. CPC Master Canteen, Wet Canteen & cafeteria are available within the campus to meet day to day requirement of trainees. The discipline of the trainees should be of high standard during the training. No pay & allowances will be claimed by CTC Sapri, concerned units of the trainees will claim their pay and allowances. No out pass is allowed during the training. However, request for withdrawal money from ATM may be considered on G.H. During Summer 0530 to 1800 Hrs During Monsoon 0545 to 1800 Hrs During Winter 0600 to 1800 Hrs. If, initially appointment of the newly recruits be at CTC SSB Sapri, they are required to bring all original documents produced by them at the time recruitment. Only medically Fit (SHAPE-I) Trainees are allowed to attend the training/ courses. Uniform and Kit items etc. will be provided to the trainees by the respective units only. Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Volley Ball and Tennis facilities are available at CTC SSB Sapri. As per the directions of FHQ, Withdrawal & Relegation Policy is being implemented. No leave will be granted to the trainees, however, trainees are allowed to proceed on leave only on extreme emergent ground and as per the course instructions circulated from FHQ SSB New Delhi. During the course/ training, the conduct of the trainees should high
