1 JOINING INSTRUCTIONS COMMANDO COURSE (10 WEEKS MODULE) CONDUCTED AT CTC, SSB SRINAGAR, UTTARAKHAND INTRODUCTION:- The Centralized Training Centre SSB Srinagar, established in May, 2017, is located approx 105 kms away from Rishikesh on Rishikesh - Badrinath National Highway Na. 58. It is located it a height of 579 mtrs above MSL and is spread over an area of4l acres on the bank ofthe river Alaknanda. The suroundings ofthe CTC,SSB Srinagar provide an ideal setting for the indoor and outdoor training activities. This elite and prestigious temple of leaming is presently conducting various Basic, in-service, promotional and Professional Thematic courses/training programmes for the broad specfium ofthe SSB officers/officials from the rank of ORs toassistant Commandants Level Officers. Besides above, CTC, SSB Srinagar is also imparting training to police officers, subordinate officers and other ranks of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and other state police. HOW TOREACH CTC SSB SRINAGAR:- CTC, SSB located at Srinagar (Garhwal) was earlier known as Academy SSB Srinagar. The town lalls in the district pauri Garhwal of Uttarakhand State. The location ofthe CTC is two kms short of Srinagar Bus Stand opposite to Kendriya Vidyalay, Srinagar on National High way No. 58 on Delhi - Srinagar via Haridwar and Rishikesh. The trainees will be accommodated on twin sharing basis in the fumished Offi cerl Trainees Hostel. No trainee will be allowed to stay outside the CTC, SSB Campus. Due to non-availability of family accommodation in the Mess, no trainee will be allowed to bring family during the training/course. \4EDICAL FACILITTES:- Adequate medical facilities are available in the Unit Hospital ofthe CTC. One Base Hospital and one medical college is available at approximately 05 Kms from SSB CTC, where advance medical facilities are available. ACCOUNTS:- One SBI ATM is located adjacent to the main gate ofctc, SSB Srinagar while the other SBI ATMs are at main market Srinagar. There is also SBI, PNB, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank ATMs available in Srinagar market. (About 2 Kms from CTC)

MESSING:- Officer trainees will be required to dine in Officer Trainees Mess. No trainee is allowed to make his own messing arangement. proper dress and mess etiquettes will be observed in the mess.

DISCIPLINE:- Leave is not permitted during entire training except only on extreme compassionate ground. Trainees will be govemed by existent disciplinary rules. They should scrupulously adhere to the wdtten and unwritten laws, orders, code of conduct and norms of unilormed servicl. PRIVATE SERVANTS:- Trainees are not pemitted to bring any private sefl,,ant with them. Trainees are also permitted to bring Sahayak. -PRIVATE ARMS:- Trainees will not be permitted to bring their pdvate ams/ammunitions. SECURITY:- Trainees are responsible for safety of their belongings. They are advised not to bring valuable items except those required in comection with training. All pamphlets, prdcis and other classified documents issued to the candidateshould be kept under lock and key.
