No: 4(01) CPC/MR/2011/E Dated: To, The Director General Doordarshan, (Kind Attn: Shri Yuvraj Bajaj, ADG(E)) Doordarshan Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi Sub: Monthly report for the month of February 2012 in respect of the AVN and DD-NATIONAL Earth Stations at CPC New Delhi. Sir, Please find enclosed here with the Monthly Report of the working of various Earth Stations at this Kendra for the month of February 2012 for further necessary action at your end. 1. In 2.25 KW HPA of MCPC one TWT model No. VTC- 6369C9 has failed on , after completing its useful life. Procurement of TWT is under process at DGDD. 2. The 2.25 KW TWTA Sl. No. 521 is out of order due to the faulty Front Panel and TWT. 3. Due to fault in the Spectrum Analyzer Printer, Plots could not be attached. 4. Two nos. of Encoders model E 5410 bearing serial no with RAS card and 1735 were sent to the CE(NZ) for repair on 08/03/2011.The Encoders have not been received back so far. 5. Uplink on IS-10 discontinued from 5/3/2011 as per instruction of Directorate order No. (2)/2010- E-III dated 04/03/2011.All the equipments in this chain are being tested regularly to make it ready for uplink at any moment. 6. Permission for decommissioning of MCPC equipments may be allowed so that the equipments thus spared may be used in DD National and AVN Uplinks at CPC. 7. One Tract Van UP14B 2431, initially belonging to HPT Pitampura, is lying idle and has been deregistered by transport department, maybe shifted to HPT Pitampura for redeployment/disposal. 8. In 2.25 KW HPA of DD National one TWT model No. VTC- 6369C9 has failed on , after completing its useful life. HPA Sl.
