2 MONTHLY REPORT OF DMC PATHANKOT For the month of October, 203 (Month & Year). DETAILS OF IMPORTANT TECHNICAL WORK DONE AT s / s DURING THE MONTH Name of Details of the important technical work done REMARKS Pathankot Working OK Repair of Air Conditioner:- The Air Conditioner unit of Pathankot was giving excessive noise as the fan of the outdoor unit was loose. The same was tightened along with lock washer, afterward the unit started working silently. Pathankot SCU OF MVV24:- Control unit received from BEL after repair and taken in circuit on But again failed on so sent back to BEL on Transmitter in Manual Mode Under repair At BEL Bangalore Pathankot Maintenance of 25 KVA DG Set:- Servicing of 25 KVA DG set has got done from market. Following parts got replaced. Mobile Oil Lts 2. M/Oil filter Nos 3. Diesel Filter 2 Nos. DG set is working OK Working OK Pathankot DMC Pathankot Replacement of C-Band LNBCs (2 Nos) & Universal LNBC:- During night of the signals of both the horizontal as well as vertical polarization of 7.5 dia PDA failed. On checking found both C-Band LNBC failed and were replaced with spare ones. Now both services are OK. Failure may be due to lightening and thunderstorm. The signal of 6.2 dia PDA was also not coming. On checking found Universal LNBC faulty. The same was replaced with spare one. Thereafter the signal of INSAT 3C received. Repair of Video Processor :- Video was not coming. After checking found transistors Q6,Q7,Q8 & Q9 faulty. Replaced with new ones. The unit is working OK. Working OK Working OK 2

3 DMC Pathankot Pathankot Pathankot Una Monitor Card of PA Sr. No of Dalhousie:- Card was giving high reflected power signal. On checking found Capacitor C 00 mfd, IC SN5400 (U3) & SFC 22 (U9) faulty. Replaced with new ones. PA Supply Sr. No. 8844:- Supply was giving -V Output instead of -5V, Other voltages were OK. Found high frequency rectifier diode short. Replaced the same with new one. Antenna Change over Co axial switch has become faulty on , bypassed. Two N type I Connector (Female) used to bypass the switch. CE(NZ) is informed for procurement. 6KVA Liebert make UPS:- One battery of 26 AH,2V procured from local market & replaced in Battery bank of 6 KVA UPS to improve back up. Old battery returned on buy back basis. Backup of the UPS increased to 2 mts at full load. Repair of Video Processor :- Found transistors Q6, Q7 & Q8 faulty. Replaced with new ones.
