3 FEATURED PROGRAMMING EL GENIO LUCAS MON-FRI 4AM-10AM SAT 4AM-10AM Alex El Genio Lucas is the most recognized Spanish voice on the Central Coast with over 18 years of radio experience. El Genio s Morning show is a full service variety program from his Jokes of the Day and hilarious Prank Calls, to audience favorites such as Don Pito Loco and Frente a Frente segments. Alex is a true radio professional with experience as Program Director, On Air Personality, Music Coordinator and Production Director. He s also a popular MC for numerous radio and community events. Rosmar Vega was born in San Pedro De Los Naranjos, Guanajuato, Mexico, under the astrological symbol of Leo. She is very noble and strong. The people who get to know Rosmar, are likely to discover the excellent friendships she builds. During her free time Rosmar enjoys cooking, reading and listening to new music. Rosmar s initiation into radio was unexpected. As a child her aspiration was to become a police officer, but fate led her to the media industry where she was surrounded by the magic of radio and longed to become an On Air Personality. In the late 1990s, she was constantly requested from KSMS-TV to voice spots, Rosmar s enthusiastic response was immediate as she realized how much she enjoyed participating in these projects. Soon Rosemar advanced to voicing radio commercials in the Salinas, CA area until she became the vox voice for KPRC-FM. In late 2003, Rosmar was offered a mid day on air shift on a Spanish Variety station. She accepted and pursued the long awaited opportunity to become a radio deejay. Soon her talent was exposed to many affiliate stations across the country when her midday show became syndicated and the great results were reflected by the high affiliate station ratings. In addition to her on air talent Rosmar is very caring of her community. She is constantly active in numerous local charity events such as the American Cancer Society s Relay for Life, Church Festivals, and youth programs. ROSMAR VEGA MON-FRI 10AM-3PM

4 FEATURED PROGRAMMING Jorge Guillen, started his career in the music industry in 1985, first as a Dj (disc jockey) in his hometown of Ameca Jalisco. His first radio experience was in 1988, he was a volunteer announcer for Radio Bilingue, a non-profit radio station in Fresno, CA. His real break came in 1990 when he had the opportunity to work for Super X 92 (Madera Broadcasting) first as a part time dj announcer moving on to become the program director. In 1993, he had the opportunity to work for Z-Spanish Media La Zeta. During this time he was named Program Director of KFIG 1430 AM La Dinamita and also did the afternoon drive becoming one of the most listened to radio station in Fresno. For the past 19 years he s had the pleasure of working with different radio groups including Entravision Communications, San Joaquin Broadcasting, Rak Communications and currently Lotus Communications.He has programmed and operated stations covering the Central Valley including Sacramento and San Jose CA. JORGE GUILLEN MON-FRI 3PM-7PM Since 1993 he s worked as Program Director and afternoon radio personality. The fact that he s on the air allows him to stay in touch with the listeners which is very important when it comes to programming. Currently he s the Operations Manager/Program Director of KLBN La Buena, KHIT Exitos 107.1FM and KGST ESPN Deportes.
