1 What is KSSL? To the country music enthusiast our listener KSSL brings to life memories music creates and preserves. The Song Remembers When and helps us recall special reminiscences from times gone by while at the same time creating new memories that will become history tomorrow. KSSL is a musical instrument, if you will, that sends forth music for miles and miles across the South Plains 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year thereby creating companionship for the willing listener at his/her command. Our music perpetuates the warmth and tenderness that only music can provide which in turn promotes positive emotions and feelings that uplift our listeners spirit. To our clients and potential clients KSSL has a loyal listener and targets adults across the South Plains from 25 to 54 years of age, while appealing to an even broader spectrum as well. KSSL s desire and goal is to transfer the loyalty of our listeners to our clients, increasing the success and business of our advertisers. We want to get our music into as many ears as possible by offering two FM frequencies at and This objective in turn increases the effectiveness of our clients advertising investment with KSSL.

2 KSSL has personality The day starts off with the Morning Show featuring Jerry Brownlow and Kidd Manning with News, Weather, Sports and Fun. Weekday afternoons from 12-6 Susanne keeps everyone company with the Greatest Country Music Ever Recorded. She host the All Request Jukebox Lunch hour from 12-1 Weekdays Round out your weekday with the silky voice of Donna 6-midnight. She s like country sunshine on your radio with interesting tidbits about country music and a great selection of songs. T. David Whitley keeps the Greatest Country Music Ever Recorded during the weekends! Be sure to tune in Saturdays from 2-6pm and Sundays from Noon-4pm. T. David is also The Voice of the Tigers providing play by play for Slaton Tiger Football Games.

3 KSSL Informs and Entertains KSSL is heavily involved in School Activities for Slaton and the surrounding area by broadcasting High School Football and Basketball games; coverage of community Junior Livestock Shows and announcements of Students of the Month for area schools. KSSL loves our area farmers and keeps them informed with news and updates from the TFB Radio Network 3 times each day Monday through Friday. KSSL features a weekly program hosted by our local Physicians Assistant where listeners are encouraged to ask questions about their health. Topics have included Heart Health, Flu and Viruses, Insurance and more. KSSL offers a variety of programs on the weekend to keep listeners entertained. Programs include Swinging Country with Billy Bowles, a 2 hour program featuring Western Swing and Pure County Music; Rick Jackson s Country Classics, a 3 hour trip back in time with a fresh theme and Classic Country music each week; Bill Gaither s Homecoming Radio Show, an hour of Gospel music and inspiring message wrapped up in fun and good times.
