2 Club Subacqueo San Marco, in collaboration with Club Sommozzatori Mestre and Gruppo Argo, organizes the 3 Underwater Photography International Contest Città di Venezia 2010, that will be held from the 18 th of september to the 3 rd of October. Categories and sections Reflex Mediterranean Sea Macro (RMM) Wide Angle (RMA) Tropical Seas Macro (RTM) Wide Angle (RTA) Compact Cameras Mediterranean Sea Macro (CMM) Wide Angle (CMA) Tropical Seas Macro (CTM) Wide Angle (CTA) Aquae (AQ) Each photographer can participate with 1 photo Macro and 1 photo Wide Angle per section (Mediterranean and Tropical). Each photographer can join both Categories, Reflex and Compact. This section is open to every photographer (scuba and terrestrial) and it is dedicated to photos describing the water in general (seas, lakes, storms, rain, etc.) The use of reflex and compact cameras is allowed. Underwater photos will not be admitted. The presence of human beings or animals is admitted. Max 3 pictures per photographer.

3 RULES AND INFO 1) The wider side of photos taken with reflex cameras must be no less than 3000dpi. The wider side of photos taken with compact cameras must be no less than 2200dpi. 2) Multiple expositions are not allowed. 3) The use of the Clone Stamp is allowed just to clean the images. 4) The assembling of different photos to create a unique image is not allowed. 5) Pictures taken in swimming pools or similar will not be admitted. 6) Photos and transparencies have to be scanned at high definition. 7) Photos taken from slides/transparencies they have to be scanned at 4000dpi Photos that have taken 1 st, 2 nd or 3 rd place in UW Photography competitions before the 31 st December of 2009 will not be admitted. Pictures already submitted to previous editions of the CITY OF VENICE will be disqualified. The entries must be in jpeg high resolution and they will be sent on CD or DVD compatible with Windows. Each file has to be named by describing Category and Section, Kind of Camera and Name of the Photographer (example: CMM_NikonD3_JohnSmith_jpeg). The files will be codified the way they will be anonymous for the Jury. The name of the photographer has to be written on the CD and it has to be written also on the back of an envelope containing the subscription form filled correctly with all the information required, and the receipt proving the payment of the subscription. The photos of the winners will be published in a catalogue that will be sent to all the participants. The photographers joining the contest they authorize the Organizing Committee to keep all the pictures and to use them to promote the future editions of the Contest, to publish them in a catalogue, and for NOT-commercial purposes. The Committee will take care of indicating the author of any image that will be used. The entries will not be sent back to the authors.

4 Any decision of the Judges has to be considered final. Entries and entry fee Entries have to be delivered by the 7 th ofjuly. Entries arrived late for technical reasons they can participate for free to the next edition of the contest, and the photographer will have the possibility to change the old photos with new ones. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each category will be awarded. Prizes: Sculptures of artistic Murano Glass, Sports Wear, Scuba Equipment, Books, and more.
