3 Ayman Gharaibeh Ayman Gharaibeh is a Jordanian Artist.He was born in Jordan/1974. Gharaibeh graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Yarmouk University.

4 Biography Ayman Gharaibeh was awarded a prize for an international drawing competition from the Savannah College of Art and Design - Georgia, U.S.A. In 2009 he has his first solo exhibition and since then has participated in both local and international shows. Nowadays Ayman lives and works in Amman at his private studio, while still painting he is also a teacher at the MSS School and the Ministry of Culture as well as an illustrator of visual content for books published by the Ministry of Education and the Wessam Magazine published by the Ministry of Culture. The female figure is the dominant subject in Ayman s work, where he attempts to evoke the emotions he see s in his subject through their facial expressions and bodies. His academic background is the strong foundation upon which his technique has grown, as can be seen by the strong anatomical structures of the figures. Their realism adds strength to the emotive pieces he creates. His unique technique is based on strong and bold brushstrokes, coupled with vivid colours that are at many times vibrant though he varies in his choice of colours. This dramatises the expressed emotions yet his application of wispy strokes that cover the figure in soft light creates a smooth and balanced composition that is soothing and gentle to the viewers eye.

8 The Fragrance of a Woman The art of Ayman Gharaibeh offers a window into the intimate, vulnerable, delicate, graceful, sensual and majestic strength and power that is woman. Full of admiration, respect, gratefulness and genuine faith, Gharaibeh conveys through his art the infinite depth of radiance that is manifest within the feminine essence. His latest exhibition, The Fragrance of a Woman, held at Orient Gallery on June 13 and June 14, 2012, is dedicated to the artist s beloved wife, Ziena Al Salti, who was the inspiration behind his work, fueled by his profound gratitude, admiration and love for her. Using mixed media on canvas, he self-adjusts; his paintings employ a richly harmonious palette of acrylic paints in up to 200 different colors and in many of the paintings a selection of unique fibers for texture. As though holding up a mirror before us, Gharaibeh s work captures dreams, desires, sensitivity, strength, hope, despair, joy, sorrow, the innate wisdom and the countless emotions that glow from the depths of a woman s heart. Even in the paintings where a dark emotion is conveyed, a ray of light is always introduced, as Gharaibeh acknowledges that a woman is always a source of light. Elegantly portrayed in his work, each painting evokes a story, an emotion and a memory so vivid and so deep that only such strokes of love and not enough words can do justice.
