John 19:30 I hope you have enjoyed this reflection and study of 100 men mentioned in the Bible. As I explained in the Introduction, some were truly bad (evil), others were somewhat bad (flawed), and other were good and faithful. Our quilting journey has walked us through over 4000 years, several countries and nearly all of the books in the Bible. Hopefully, you have used the personal reflection space to recall your personal thoughts regarding the Bible Boy, or to reflect on your process/progress when constructing the quilt. Your completed journal will become a cherished treasure to accompany your finished keepsake quilt. I realize that many of the men that are included in this quilt have been interpreted a variety of ways, and I have done my best to capture the most accepted understanding of each character. I appreciate all of your comments on our Facebook page and personal s. I enjoy seeing pictures of your blocks and quilts. Keep them coming! The quilt can be finished in three sizes. You can choose the men you want to feature in your quilt, and set them in the size that works for you. Most certainly, I encourage you to include Block 2 (Jesus), Block 99 (Satan) & Block 100 (God) in your quilt, regardless of the size you choose. 3 Each quilt top is constructed in a similar fashion. You begin with 5 blocks: 3 vertical and 2 horizontal. Take care when choosing your blocks to valance color and value. Pay particular attention to directional blocks. The unfinished block section should measure 24-1/2 Wx 20-1/2 L You will make some units with the horizontal blocks on bottom, and some units with the horizontal blocks on top. It is not always easy to flip the section over! Directional blocks can make a big difference in this quilt. Use the quilt top layout chart(s) included in this pattern as a guide. You will construct your finished quilt in vertical rows. Press seams open. Stitch inner border strips together. Measure the length of the quilt top and cut (2) strips to length. The quilt top should measure (Throw 60-1/2, Queen 80-1/2, King 100-1/2 ). Stitch to the sides of the quilt. Press to the outside. 2. Measure the width of the quilt top and cut (2) strips to width. The quilt top should measure (Throw 50-1/2, Queen 74-1/2, King 98-1/2 ). Stitch to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press to the outside. 5

6 For the rest of the finishing instructions, we will show the throw quilt, with measurements and block numbers for the Queen and King quilts shown in parentheses. Adding the Outer Borders 1. Measure the length of the quilt top and stitch (2) borders of rectangles to length. The quilt top should measure (Throw 62-1/2, Queen 82-1/2, King 102-1/2 ). You should use (Throw 31, Queen 41, King 51) rectangles for each side. Press seams open. Stitch to the sides of the quilt. Press toward the inner border. 2. Measure the width of the quilt top and stitch (2) borders of rectangles to length, adding cornerstones to each end. The quilt top should measure (Throw 58-1/2, Queen 84-1/2, King 108-1/2 ). You should use (Throw 25, Queen 38, King 50) rectangles for the top and bottom borders. Stitch to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press toward the inner border. Finishing the Quilt 1. Layer quilt top, batting and backing, quilt as desired. 2. Stitch the binding strips together. Bind the quilt. 6
