10 About the Artist... A known doodler, no piece of paper is ever safe when Jen Allyson has a pen in her hand. Luckily her love of doodling, crafting, and all things artistic led her down the path to becoming a designer. Jen studied art and design at Brigham Young University where she got her Bachelor s degree in design. Her second job out of college was designing for well-known scrapbooking manufacturer- My Mind s Eye. After more than 8 years of designing paper and honing her design skills, she is thrilled to be designing fabric for Riley Blake. Color, pattern, and design have always been her passion and she loves seeing how all those elements come together in both quilting and crafting. Her craft room is always a mess, and way too full of goodies, but she would not have it any other way. Her favorite hobby is hosting fabulous parties and her favorite color is Yellow.
