6 Hop For a Cause Fans of the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop know that giving is central to the Shop Hop s mission. Each year we collect thousands of dollars for Minnesota-area food shelves. It s a great way for all of us to come together and give back to our community. THREE CONVENIENT WAYS TO DONATE Give As You Go Cash donations in any amount ($5.00 per shop recommended) The Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop is free and open to everyone. If you d like to help area food shelves, simply give what you can at each shop you visit. We recommend a $5.00 per shop donation, but any amount is gratefully accepted. Even a dollar goes a long way, as food shelves are able to buy in bulk at discounted rates. Food shelves love getting cash, too, so that they can buy what they need. Anyone who donates at a shop receives this year s premium giveaway a collectible pin while supplies last. An additional $5.00 donation will entitle each hopper to a commemorative Shop Hop tote bag, while supplies last. Pay in Advance: EZ Pass $50.00 donation Instead of donating at each shop, give $50.00 (beginning March 15 at the shop of your choice), and be guaranteed this year s premium giveaway a collectible pin as well as a commemorative Shop Hop tote bag. That s right, each shop will set its collectible pin aside for you to be picked up at any time during the Hop. Simply give your name, gather your materials and you re ready to enjoy the Hop! The EZ Pass is also available during the Hop. Simply purchase your EZ Pass at the first shop you visit.
7 Pay in Advance: VIP Pass $ donation (purchase in advance) For those who want to go that extra mile for Minnesota s food shelves, give $100 and receive a lot of gratitude and perks! VIP Passes are available beginning March 15 at the shop of your choice, until the day before the start of the Hop. Of course you ll be guaranteed this year s premium giveaway a collectible pin as well as a commemorative Shop Hop tote bag. The tote bags will be available when registering for the pass and each shop will set its collectible pin aside for you to be picked up at any time during the Hop. You ll also be given a coupon good for 20% off your purchase at the shop of your choice during the Hop. In addition, you ll be entered in a very exclusive giveaway: two VIP Passholders will each be given 7 skeins (that s one skein from half of the shops on the Hop) of the specially dyed yarn that each shop commissions each year. We ll draw those names the first day of the Hop so that you can plan your shopping accordingly. That s a great prize, with even greater odds of winning. Please join this exclusive club if you are able you ll help fight hunger in a significant way.
