Attaching the toe piece: Using your yarn needle and the tail of your flap, attach the flap to your shoe. Line it up and go in and out, catching the stitches on the shoe, and the corresponding loop in the flap. Take care to secure the sides of the flap, where the top meets the side. Finish by taking a piece of white yarn and making the laces. Start on one side and go down through the loop hole on top, and come out directly below the lace loop. From there, go in and out evenly until you reach the other side and go up and out the other lace loop. Tie of bow and trim the ends. The laces can be used to tighten around your toddler s foot.
