2 Purpose of the simulator The Simulator is designed for education and training of operators of antitank guided missile Kornet-E in conditions similar to the modern battle conditions with the purpose of formation and maintenance at them steady skills of detection and tracking ground targets, choosing right time for guided missile launch, ATGM launch and targeting, firing effect evaluation Capabilities of simulator ❶ Studying of arrangement and operating of controls of an 9P163M launcher ❷ Formation of skills at ATGM «Kornet-E» operators to conduct reconnaissance of the battlefield using optical sight 1P45М-1 and thermal imaging sight 1PN-79 «Metis- 2» ❸ Formation of operators' skills to track moving ground targets in various conditions of battle situation, as well as firing anti-tank missiles to various types of targets at various ranges Scope of use of simulator The «Kornet-E» operator simulator can be used in the combat training system for motorized rifle (mechanized), as well as anti-tank units, in training units, as well as in the educational institutions of the Land Forces.

18 The schedule of training of technical specialists of the Customer For the operation and maintenance of the simulator (simulators), specially trained technical personnel (instructors-operators) are used, the number of which is determined by the number of simulators and the combat training program (educational process). To operate 6 (six) simulators, one specialist is sufficient. It is the task of the instructor operator to prepare a session (training) and input the initial data in accordance with the instruction manual, the idea and procedure for conducting the training session, enabling the instructor of the lesson to manage the training course and monitor the activities of the trainees during the exercises, maintenance of the simulator (simulators), monitoring their operability and repair in accordance with the requirements of the operating manual.
